Re: Fight Night Champion Added to the Xbox One Backward Compatibility Library
I read somewhere that EA will be announcing a 'new sports' game at E3, I'd say a new boxing game would be considered 'new' as it has been 7yrs, my interpretation of 'new' was not fifa, madden etc.
Cant think of many other up and coming sports that EA dont already have or would be interested in..?
I'm hoping its a boxing game with a different name.Comment

I bet this will be FIFA being rebranded or something.
If it's truly a new sports game, I can only think it'll be either boxing or baseball.
I read that EA is teasing a new Action game. Could this be the real 'new' game that EA was referring to?
Is it truly a new sports title they're producing?Comment

PES lost the rights to the Champions League.

Any links to that article ?
One thing I wish they would change, is being able to win on a late ko after beating your opponent throughout the fight. If it was your first KNock down you were guaranteed to get up.

A new sports game from EA could be anything:
It could be a boxing game.
It could be the return of MVP Baseball or NBA Street or NFL Street or FIFA Street or Tiger Woods Golf or an NHL arcade game or Grand Slam Tennis.
Dont get your hopes up for it being a boxing game. I would be pumped if it was one though.Comment

You got my attention and excitement because your post seem how we use to post back when I was a moderator who couldn't say anything. I should see what I can pry from Brizzo....Last edited by SHAKYR; 05-23-2018, 05:47 PM.Poe is an advocate for realistic boxing videogames.Comment

I heard an interview from brizzo back in January. He was saying that he’s been trying to convince EA to develop a new boxing game. Maybe it’s just smoke and mirrors, but if it’s not, then i doubt they’d be working on a boxing game this soon.Comment

The EA UFC devs love FN but they arent the ones who would decide whether or not one gets made.Comment

Re: Fight Night Champion Added to the Xbox One Backward Compatibility Library
Calling anything that already is on their roster of sports games "new" would be pretty lame. Especially with NBA. Goodness, that poor franchise has been so mishandled by EA.
It's very possible that we see a new boxing game. What other sport besides baseball would generate enthusiasm? And then what other sport would generate revenue? I'd say a boxing title would be their best bet.

Honestly, dont read anything into my posts. Seriously, I've had discussions with Hayes, Jazz and other devs about a boxing game but that doesnt mean one is in development or is coming anytime soon or at all.
