Re: Fight Night Champion Added to the Xbox One Backward Compatibility Library
I'm really hoping that if enough people flock to this that it shows EA there's still a huge audience wanting to play boxing and it motivates them to take a chance and make a new Fight Night. Slim hopes but a man can wish.Comment

Re: Fight Night Champion Added to the Xbox One Backward Compatibility Library
Man they should make one regardless. There needs to be more variety in combat sports games and i'm saying this as more of an mma fan. The majority of their sales come from casual players and I can almost guarantee a boxing game would sit more well among the casuals just cuz of the fact that it's straight striking. They are more focused on the UFC now since it's become more popular in recent yrs, but it wouldn't surprise me at all if a new fight night game got more sales than EA UFC games.Comment

Re: Fight Night Champion Added to the Xbox One Backward Compatibility Library
Did you redownload him or did you just use the same one you downloaded and it somehow worked right the second time? I was going to upload my 360 boxers to the cloud and download them onto my Xbox One X instead of downloading them from the servers and see if that makes a difference. I'll try using my Mayweather I downloaded from last night again first to see if it somehow reverts back to normal.

Re: Fight Night Champion Added to the Xbox One Backward Compatibility Library
One can only hope, cuz there is a heavy focus on UFC games now that mma has grown more in popularity and the same team that did the fight night games are working on them. Meaning they would have to get another team together to work on a fight night game. Really hope it could happen. I miss the days of having mma and boxing games to look forward to and i'm sure alot of ppl really miss the fight night games.Comment

There are 2,400 people online right now playing Fight Night Champion. That’s a pretty good number.
UFC 3 right now has around 2,800 people. It’s funny to see how close online numbers are with both games.Comment

Re: Fight Night Champion Added to the Xbox One Backward Compatibility Library
Exactly. That's a great number for a 7 year old game, which means a good bit of ppl picked up the game. EA needs to know that a boxing game would attract way more players (casuals in particular) just cuz of the fact that its a boxing game...just punching and all you have to worry about is punching the other guy in the face. A buddy of mine who's been team sony since i've known him came over last night and we played FNC. He played FNR4, but he had never played FNC. He enjoyed the game so much, that this dude said he's going to buy an X1 just so he can get FNC. Like I said in my previous post, I wouldn't be surprised at all if a new fight night game sold better than the EA UFC games. They need to make a new one.Last edited by WarMMA; 05-17-2018, 06:10 PM.Comment

FYI, there is a guy who use the game tag "Illconic" who has some pretty good CAFs of current fighters like Rigo, Shawn Porter, Mayweather etc.Comment

makes me mad i traded in my xbox one a while back.....lol. still have my 360, of course. this is the one time ps4 backwards compatibility would have been perfect for a game like this one, especially since there is no boxing game on ps4. i went with ps4 since it has the better sports games, now this happens....lol. oh, well. maybe a remastered digital release in the future (like marvel ultimate alliance 1 and 2)?Comment
