first time pre-ordering a delux anything, but did just that for xsx immediately this morning. Already have it on steam too lol.

The latest round-table really solidified for me they're making the right changes.

Based on the latest version I've been playing (career mode), this is nowhere near polished and ready for launch. I strongly urge those of you on console to WAIT FOR REVIEWS. Do not pre-order this.

They've already told the game will launch with no clinch feature and no ref in the ring. The AI currently fights the same way regardless the boxer and online is UNPLAYABLE, the netcode is brutally bad. I am stunned they are releasing this without letting us on PC test the latest build first. This has cash out and run written all over it.

I've learned my lesson and will wait for the reviews with fingers crossed. After breaking my rule the last time with Starfield, pre-order is now a bridge too far for me.

Agreed. I skipped out on every tennis game after Topspin 4 and waited 13 years for 2K25--guess I'll do the same for EA's boxing offering.

I enjoy it lol... that's pretty harsh urging people not to buy it - The fact of the matter is early access isn't getting updates until launch but there are people play-testing newer builds as showcased in their last roundtable.

I'm glad they scrapped clinching (which will be a post-launch release) because I always wanted it to be dynamic and the way it was simply didn't cut it. Ash the creator of undisputed decided they would completely rethink it and revamp it to be more like what we see on TV.

no ref? I want it there, but no where close to a deal-breaker and it's also something they may add post-launch.

As for the rest - with a full-time AI employee(s) I don't see why you'd think it would stay the same after 9 months or so. In fact they mentioned they are constantly working on it and adding to it for all their internal updates (we're on .6 and they are releasing 1.0)

netcode, hit and miss - i've had a lot of great matches - admittedly before the last update but I'm playing through a streaming service and STILL have a winning record. I actually expect it to be better on console in many many ways especially for me.

I'm very encouraged by the more methodical approach they are taking and excited for lower punch tracking and more head movmement.

I actually have FNC and tried to play it after undisputed and it's just so trash in comparisson. I can't do it - even UFC 5 feels too much like tekken.

I think it's a very good first entry that will have post-launch updates that add to the game and they are well capitalized to support the game. They also don't have to bend the knee to a huge publisher like EA sports OR 2K who would inevidably ruin it.

IF you're a boxing fan, this is the best in-ring action easily so 'skipping it' would be a mistake imo.

I have been extremely disappointed in this game. I am hoping the actual release version of the game is FAR superior to the early access version.

There are some good things about the game, but overall I have just been unimpressed. I know they are continuing to work on punches and how they look, but so far the punches do not look good or realistic. There is no snap to any punch. The AI is atrocious at every level. Not that it is always easy, but simply that there is no difference between any fighter, they are really bad at stamina management, severe lack of movement in the ring.

I still play FNC and enjoy it quite a bit. Now truth be told there. I have edited every boxer and created a ton a boxers, and through the editing process I have been able to create a pretty realistic game. You know, much like I do with Madden. One of these days someone at EA is going to realize my system for ratings is far superior to theirs and they will hire me. LOL

In any case, I am hopeful Undisputed releases as a better game, and I hope they keep working on it. However, I find the game, in the current state I have it, barely worth playing at all.
