I then started my career in heavyweight. I quickly built up a 12-0 record with 8 KO's...then my 13th fight, I faced a counter puncher was putting up a heck of a fight and he was winning on the cards by a narrow margin, but he stopped me on cuts in the 8th. 12-1 ranked 28th or so still wasn't bad. I KO'd that guy in the rematch.
Then I got up to 17-1, ranked in the low 20's and everything was fine until I realized that pretty much every Heavyweight that was available to fight was a fat power puncher(some looked like circus clowns)-Not real realistic. So I fought one and he totally creamed me, KO'ing me in the 5th. I tried a rematch, because he KO'd me by throwing 150 punches a round through 5. I thought, stick and move and counter...no dice. I went down for the count in the 8th. Now, I'm 17-3 and figure, I better step back and think this through so I fought the lwest ranked scrub I could find and squeeked out an 8 round decision, not very impressive.
I figured lets go for the Everlast Charity tournament that doesn't count against your record but unlocks things. Downside, it takes 26 weeks to train for it but paid some decent money. I get flash KO'd in the 3rd...So I got ticked and tried it again. I got flash KO'd in the 4th round the next time. Unbelievable. A year out of the prime of my career gone and nothing to show for it.
I get back in the ring and get in a pretty tough battle with a speed guy, but got disqualified after only thrwing my 2nd headbutt.....18-4 now this is terrible because I'm againg and treading water around #20. I fight another power guy and get stopped on cuts again. now I'm 18-5 and the option to fight at Light Heavy(I know unrealistic for a guy Vitalis size) so I took it.
I won my first two fights convincingly to get ranked 15th and then I fought a midget....Honestly, he only came up to Vitali's waste. He got inside and pummeled me....The guy was so short that even when I parried and threw a punch it would fly over his head and if I tried to lean down to puch his belly, he threw an uppercut heymaker. I was KO'd in 9 on my first trip to the mat.
20-6 now and I was seriously thinking of calling it quits but I saw that Jeff Lacy was ranked 22nd, so I though ok one more fight. I KO'd him in the 3rd. He was horrible, I landed 10 straight punches a mix of crosses straights, and a haymaker that finished his night....Then I got my roll on, rejuvenated after the fight, I went on a tear. I got up to #4 and fought the #2 guy who was 54-1-1...I beat him pretty badly in a 12 round decsision. The guy was tough as nails. I landed 500+ punches against him, but I was totally punched out by the 10th round. I moved up to #3, he stayed #2. I KO'd him in 5 in the rematch. In the championship fight, I went down in the 3rd, but rallied for a 7th round KO and the light heavyweight belt was mine. The Champ and #2 guy were speed boxers that just couldn't compete with the reach and power of Klitschko.
Now I've been offered the chance to fight for the Heavyweight belt. The HW champion has maxed out power, chin, heart, and almost maxed out stamina. I can defend the title against the #2 LHW, but he is a balanced fighter with really good stats everywhere. Both fights pay Multi Millions. I'm standing at age 34 29-6-0 with 20 KO's. The game has really grown on me. I really enjoy it.
But here are the flaws...
1. Too many fat guys in the HW ranks.
2. The power punches never run out of gas like they should, Even with 1/2 stamina, they still throw 100+ punches per round into the 8th round.
3. Should be able to stop the fight with body and nose damage.
4. Can't see the rankings of other divisions besides the one you're in.
5. WHat happened to the yearly awards..Best newcomer, Fighter of the year, KO of the year, fight of the year, defensive specialist, etc.
6. They really need to make the round length adjustable.
7. Sometimes it takes multiple..4 or 5 knockdowns for the guy to stay down although I have a few knockouts on the first knockdown.
8. They need a tale of the tape and list fighters current stats so you know what you're in for before you sign to fight...I would have never fought the fat midget.
9. I would like to see all fighters history, who they fought, how the fight turned out, etc. Last year they showed last 5 fight, this year nothing.
10. More types of training like road work and sparring.
11. More types of intro music, didn't Kudo say it wouldn't be all rap this year?
12. Ability to change hair style and even some facial features.
13. Permanent damage that can shorten career.
14. Hand, rib, nose damage recorded.
That's about all I can think of. There are alot of flaws in this game, but for some reason, I can't put it down. On Hard level this game is a serious challenge for me. The Power punchers eat me for lunch. I need to work on that.
