Stagger hit reactions causing desync issues, which lead to players being unable to fight effectively.
Power punches consistently bleed through blocks, meaning winning a fight online is largely down to throwing power punches.
Deontay Wilder is overpowered – particularly his power hook.
Some DLC fighters are unable to be used online.
Player becomes stuck in an infinite transition screen after winning through an Injury TKO.
For a minority of users, DLC doesn't appear for secondary accounts on Xbox.

this is the stuff their fixing for their next update,i don't see regular punches causing more damage fixed yet maybe their working on it in the background

One really cool feature in this game is that you can SharePlay this with your friends that don’t actually own the game.

I'm having fun with it. Yeah, there could be things that could be better and having editable tendencies, but it's a good pick up and play experience for me. I'm renting this game via Gamefly to kill free time. I was on the fence about even renting game. I was going to take it off my queue, but wasn't quick enough before it shipped. But, its been good enough for me to not want to ship back. I'm just doing a offline career.



I do wish there was against the ropes and corner combat. I also experienced some type of glitch in one of my fights. It was the end of the round and we were still thowing shots and the time stopped, but the round didn't. It felt like we were fighting for 10 minutes after the bell. I had to have stunned him 6-7 times, landed so many power punches, he was beyond gashed and wouldn't go down, my stamina was depleted and I was getting gashed. I thought I was going to have to quit and restart the fight. But, I had to deplete the opponent's head and body's health completely for him to get knocked out and not even get off canvas where there wasn't even a count out

Don't get me wrong, I love having a boxing game again, have been a fan of the video game boxing genre since Intellivision.....I am old...To me the biggest thing to fix ASAP- and I would guess it's been talked about before- the fact when I get the CPU fighter in trouble, I can't close to knock him out...when he gets me in trouble- he's on me like white on rice and I can't get away....

It ruins career for me because I am losing to the same fighters over and over again.

Lastly- anyone get the glitch where the round ends, there's no time, but the fighters keep going and it doesn't stop until one of you is basically dead....I "fought" my opponent for about 20 minutes after the end of the second round until I finally knocked him down...his face a bloody pulp, his eyes beat red, looked like a scene from "Pulp Fiction"

That's what I mentioned. It took like 8-10 minutes. I had to damn near end his career to win. There wasn't even a countout and didn't raise his head off the mat.

I was fighting Clarissa Shields, was winning 6 rounds, knocked her down in the 1st 2 rounds. I'm thinking I am cruising to a victory. Round 7 all of a sudden she becomes untouchable. Every punch I threw, always ended up short of her face or body, but yet she was landing upper cuts on me from 5 feet away. One of those upper cuts KO'ed me. I was so mad and just shut the game off. Like WTF.....Couldn't believe that BS happened.

I was thinking how is she landed long distance 5ft away upper cuts on me, when I am standing 2 inches away from her and can't land an upper cut, straight, jab or hook. It is stuff like that that makes this game annoying. When the CPU decides they aren't going to get hit, they won't get hit.

How is the career mode so far?
I'm definitely getting this for Christmas.
I'd get it sooner but my wife is terrible for buying me gifts I actually want so she's begging me to let her get this for me.
Plus, more updates should be available by then.

I'm pretty far in it. It's okay. Not bad, but nothing to write about. Just lacks depth. The step up in talent is real though. Once you start facing top tier talent, it's noticeable. I'm in the heavy weight class. Those top tier guys are never out of it and can quickly knock you out. Just wish there was a little more depth. It feels like every single fight my boxer was deemed the underdog regardless of OVR or we beat them before.



I'm probably at 41-43 fights. Once I get to 50 fights, I'm probably going to retire and return the game

Career mode is a nice sandbox, pretty dynamic. Once they add in a bit of flare and presentation it’ll be a keeper. If I’m not mistaken training mini games, press conferences, etc are on the way, as well as upwards of 50 + more boxers coming in 6 man packs every few weeks. There’s a few things slated to be patched in December which hopefully makes the overall gameplay experience better

If thats the case with adding mini-games and press conferences coming down the line, I might pause on this game until these features are added in. I'll likely return this game and re-rent this game later

I am waiting on all these things, plus clinching (it's a non negotiable feature in boxing for me).

Until then I am on the sidelines and hoping they keep supporting the game with important updates to make it a complete boxing game......which I am dying for. I am strictly an offline career and fantasy tournament boxing guy.

Yea, they have to get something going in between fights during career mode, way too bland/generic. It throws me off that we always get one or the other, the EA games have training mini games, SOME presentation, but then completely lacks any depth. Then Undisputed comes out and has the depth of career but zero presentation, training, etc lol. Somebody put the entire package together PLEASE, its like we cant win for losing!

One of my biggest complaints right now is that when creating a boxer you are limited in how good they can be. Also, you cannot edit the existing boxers in the game.

I want to be able to create a lot of boxers and cannot do it correctly due to the limitations placed for no good reason.

Jeeeez. Oh well. Patiently waiting to hear better things after some post release support. I am sure I will pick it up down the line.
