That’s toxic sports online gaming culture in general and it’s been that way since the dawn of online gaming (I’m old).

As a strictly offline player, I’m really enjoying it despite the flaws (which I believe are fixable). I’ve had some incredible matches with some gorgeous KO’s. Fix the punch tracking on the straight and I’m good. I don’t need training mini games because I sim past those anyway in FN. just a bit more flexibility in who you can fight as champ instead of your mandated options. And have the CPU fighters fight more when they’re not fighting you……too often I’ll fight a guy like Ali and then I’ll have to fight him again 3 fights later for a title defense and he won’t have fought since our last fight. A bit more turnover within the top 10 would be nice instead of fighting the same guys over and over. I changed weight classes and vacated my titles just to get some different opponents.
As a fellow offline guy, this pretty close to my opinion as well. Undisputed is one of those games that is "so close." A few improvements can make this an amazing game, but at the same time a few missteps can completely bring it down.

I'm with you on the training games; I tend to view that as something like presentation elements in stick and ball sports game. Its cool the first few games (fights), but then I end up skipping them (simming) except for big games like the SB (megafights).

What I'd like to see is a little more control for the user in setting up our career experience. Things like setting up the initial roster and rankings and giving us the ability to specify late arrivals. For example it would be nice to say a young Bud Crawford enters career mode in year 5. And of course, created boxer import.

In my current career there are two versions of Canelo in two weight classes, and Bud is nowhere to be seen. I'm hoping the game just selects a random boxer that gets added late.

Finally give the AI more agency as you alluded to. On top of making them more active, allow them to move up/down in weight classes as well.

And of course vastly improve the commentary, I think its safe to say its the worst of any sport game out there. More presentation elements as well, things like improving the boxer walkout with belts, robes, custom music, etc

A great way to play this game online is with a decent league.
True Sim Boxing League ( Facebook league ) is pretty good, active and the game developers have a relationship with the league.
Highly recommend you all to check it out.

The commentary is comical. When you get rocked they’ll say your fighter should clinch up (but you can’t clinch). Like every other fight I hear about how great it is my guy got to 50 fights……..and I’d be in the 4th fight of my career (the 50 number won’t be right in reference to the opposing fighter either). They’ll say the winner if this fight is guaranteed a title shot and it’ll be a fight between two guys ranked in the 30’s. …….or a fight where your guy already is the champ.

IMO they aren’t playing it properly. Very few people have the patience to actually box. They just want a slug fest, which doesn’t work in this game. A big complaint is the stamina, and how they’re gassed by the 3rd round. That’s mostly because they come out firing power hooks over and over, in which case, yes you will be gassed early in the fight. You have to use them strategically in this game to make it work. Another problem is punch accuracy, which again I don’t see much of a problem with. I’m landing a realistic percentage of shots, and am having a realistic percentage of shots landed on me. My fear is that they’re going to buff up the punch accuracy and turn it into an arcade rock ‘em sock ‘em robots experience. I would like to see them add a few things. Better hair styles and tattoos, as well as being able to put text and logos on trunks. But all in all it’s a great game I think. I’ve enjoyed the hell out of it for over a month now.

My worry is that the game enters a cycle:
            1. People that aren't good at the game keep losing and blame the game for their lack of skill
            2. SCI rebalances game as a result
            3. People that aren't good at the game keep losing and blame the game for their lack of skill
            4. SCI rebalances game as a result

Sadly I think that’s where we’re headed. Outside of the straight punch accuracy is fine. Stamina was fine before the December patch yet the adjusted it again. People say they want a boxing sim, yet they don’t have the patience to actually box. I’m dreading the next patch honestly.

Kind of similar to EA College Football. You have to know a decent amount of football strategy to be successful at that game and while many love it, there are also alot of complaints similar to what is described above. I'm not very good at this game (or the football game) and I love the challenge.

I wouldn't say updates made it worse...Like I said I haven't played for months and the game does feel better...

Offline, outside of bugs, the biggest issues are punch tracking which is abysmal (especially with straights in combination) and the broken "cheating" AI...Just because the AI's button reading can be exploited with feints doesn't mean its not broken...

I don't understand why they don't give us offline players a slider to adjust the punch tracking to our liking...We have this in boxing games over 10 years old...What is so difficult about adding slider?

For the AI just adjust the timing...The way it works right now, the AI responds to your button press, not the animation on the screen...AI shouldn't start blocking a right hook to the body before the animation even starts on screen...Its crazy this even needs to be said but its been like this since early access and they still haven't fixed it...

I land a good amount of body shots with jabs, straights, and hooks. There are occasions where I will land a body hook and the noise ever happens, so I’m curious if those actually count. Tracking on straight rights to the head does need adjusted. To many of those miss when a fighter is standing right in front of you well in range. Other than that the punch tracking seems fine to me.

there are 2 separate issues here: 1) some punch tracking w/ 2 guys standing still is wonky and there are too many misses
...but more importantly to me 2) punch tracking is too reactive and good.

                        - If I attempt to dodge a punch after it's thrown it should NOT track mid-flight to catch me. All that does is make L2 ABSOLUTELY USELESS (with the exception of lean back). If I'm focused on defence 100% I should be able to limit your punch connects to under 30% let alone 50%...the tracking you can see sliding and shifting during a punch if you slow it down - those shots should hit nothing but air.
