Re: EA UFC Retail Impressions Thread
Its still nothing to me. I want accurate music and thats what EA promised. I'd actually rather have generic music that sounds close to the actual music tha EA's approach. Its like they said "Edgar comes out to rap music so lets give him a rap song from Run The Jewels that sounds nothing like it"Comment

Re: EA UFC Retail Impressions Thread
So would you guys recommend the game? I'm pretty much gonna buy it regardless unless it's really not that goodComment

Re: EA UFC Retail Impressions Thread
From what I watched, it is accelerated clock. I saw a 3 round match and stamina was hardly drained. Why they don't think about this stuff and say, "that isn't cool" is beyond me.
Sure, it's supposed to be fun, but if ever the Tekken comparison can be made, it is here.Being kind, one to another, never disappoints.Comment

So I'm guessing the limb damage is the same as the demo? They just heal up after a few secondsComment

Re: EA UFC Retail Impressions Thread
i be honest i am enjoying it. now fair warning if u r looking for a pick up and play then no dont get it. the controls are very advanced and some might not like that. im actually happy that they put game challenges mode. in this mode you train how to play the game. i actually like this mode better then the actually tutorial. im enjoying it a whole lot. it does suck there no event mode because you basically will be doing nothing but exhibition matches and there no random which sucks for me cuz i dont know who to be but i recommend it.Comment

Re: EA UFC Retail Impressions Thread
Not really. It last longer in the demo. There arent leg kick KOs but I've been able to use leg kicks so that a fighter slows down and his leg HUD starts to flash. Especially when using Barao.Comment

Re: EA UFC Retail Impressions Thread
If you are looking for a fun MMA game that has some realistic elements, get it. I've learned to ignore the flaws and found workarounds for the biggest issue I had with the game (lack of CAFs) so I'm just gonna ignore it.
As long as EA patches the game (like they do with every sports games) and provides and decent amount of DLC, I will be happy.Comment

Depends on what you are looking for. If you are looking for a realistic representation of MMA, dont get it. Its not that and really not even close to that.

Re: EA UFC Retail Impressions Thread
I long for the day a MMA game will have leg kick TKOs. For me personally it will kill my joy using Aldo or Ben Henderson if I can't leg kick TKO somebody. Guess I will just settle for leg bruising. At least I can enjoy knee'ng people to death, since the clinch game is legit.Comment
