Not really a spoiler since you probably assumed it was coming, but I took the opportunity to play against the AI last week, against Anderson Silva in particular, and the AI aggression tuning ThinkingOfRobots did based on your guys feedback is very noticeable in my opinion.

I think he did a really good job, and I think you guys will be happy with the results once the patch comes out.
Just curious what difficulty were you playing on? If you were playing on normal, could you tell me if the CPU played well on hard and pro.

      Thanks

        Almost 100% certain you can.

Yeah, I'm sure it would be a pretty quick fix, but I'm not sure if it's on their priority list. Not being able to see the opponents stamina will take away some of the Street Fighter aspect of the game to me. I should be able to have a good idea of what their stamina is just by how the fight is going, but I wouldn't know exactly how much they have left in the tank.

Yes totally agree! Not just for online but I hope they can add an option offline where you can turn off the cpu hud and still keep yours. It's the most realistic setting imo - as a fighter I would think you'd always know how you are doing damage and stamina wise throughout the fight, while having to rely on visual cues/feel of the fight for your opponent's.

Back in EA MMA I would actually play with the hud on, but cover the portion of the tv screen where my opponent's hud is with a piece of paper haha!

New DLC fighters have been confirmed by Jazz. No word on who they are yet or when the patch is coming.

This one caught me by surprise.

Here's some info for those early on in their patch experience.

To catch a kick, you need to successfully parry a kick to the head or body when your opponent has low stamina or low leg health, where low for stamina is roughly 50%, and low for leg health is roughly 25%. I don't have the exact numbers with me as I'm at home, but that's the right ballpark.

Once you've caught the leg, to take your opponent down, keep holding the parry face button.

To let go of the leg, let go of the parry face button as soon as you see the catch kick animation start.

If you counter punch after letting go of the leg, you get the same counter punch bonus you get after a parry.

hey gameplay dev....i think the cpu is too good at catching kicks...maybe reduce their effectiveness in the next patch? what do you all gamers think? if you're not experiencing it maybe i just need more practice...

                        great overall patch however....

Depends on the level you are playing at. I see it at Pro but on Normal they catch the kicks they should.
