Re: Running your own UFC
I use my own extremely rudimentary spreadsheet. Actually two, one that had all the events and another that has fighter rankings and records. If I were starting now I'd probably use one of the ones posted in this forum but 20 events in I just don't feel like going back and entering in all the old data. Maybe one day I'll work up the resolve to do it, but it'll probably stay that way till UFC 2.
As far as who fights, I do the booking on my own, about 4 cards in advance. Title fights I book out further and then fill in the rest of the card as it gets closer. I try to match up guys close to each other in rankings with both coming off a win or a loss. With the roster being thin compared to real life so top guys do fight more often than they do in real life but I'm ok with that.Teams: Minnesota Vikings, Cincinnati Reds, Marshall Thundering Herd, Virginia Tech Hokies (2010 alum)Comment

Re: Running your own UFC
I just book fights based on my rankings and I keep my schedule close to the UFC's actual schedule. For example, this weekend is UFC 188 in the real UFC so its 188 in my UFC.
I also book fights like the UFC. UFC 188 is in Mexico so Cain, Gilbert, Diego and Erik Perez are all on the card. I also tend to book title fights at least 4 mos apart.
I just redid my spreadsheet using dpmx21's spreadsheet. I added a few things like a winning streak section and past opponents.
I noticed on the actual game, there are quite a few fighters who can fight in multiple divisions. With that being said, the blank spreadsheet already set up is best to go by? Also, do you adjust the fighters in order based on their current day rankings and then start making your own fights?"Hate my game, hate my swagger, my hunger. Hate that I'm a veteran, a champion. The only thing that real life affects is when I schedule cards since I follow the UFC schedule. I've been running my own UFC since UFC 99 (2009) so current day rankings dont affect my rankings at all at this point. When I started off it was before the UFc even had rankings but if I would start one today I would use theirs as a starting point.Comment

Re: Running your own UFC
Do you have a good source for CAFs? I've only made a couple but adding a few could spice up my universe quite a bit.Teams: Minnesota Vikings, Cincinnati Reds, Marshall Thundering Herd, Virginia Tech Hokies (2010 alum)Comment

Nah. I just use Gameface and hope for the best. Some are pretty good (My Edson Barbosa and Leonard Garcia are great). Some are horrible (Alan Belcher looks nothing like he does in real life).Comment

Re: Running your own UFC
I haven't been able to get gameface to work at all on the EA website. I can't figure out why. Maybe I'll give it another go; my generic OSP just ain't cutting it.Teams: Minnesota Vikings, Cincinnati Reds, Marshall Thundering Herd, Virginia Tech Hokies (2010 alum)Comment

Re: Running your own UFC
One downloaded browser and three plug-in installations later I finally got it to work, but then I remembered the 10 CAF limit. Come on EA, gotta give us unlimited on UFC 2. Off to make separate profiles for each weight class I guess.Teams: Minnesota Vikings, Cincinnati Reds, Marshall Thundering Herd, Virginia Tech Hokies (2010 alum)Comment

Re: Running your own UFC
Do u have a ps4 or Xbox one? If it's a ps4 there is a workaround. I have 70 cafs (10 per division).Comment

Re: Running your own UFC
Type this into Google "(Fighter Name) UFC Profile". Then download their image. The UFC has a profile pic of every fighter thats ever fought for themComment
