I also could send you my UFC profile pics already resized if you want.

Could you do this for me as well? I definitely need some CAFs because it's too unrealistic in my eyes for me to use retired fighters in my season.

My email is [email protected] in case you decide to do it. Thanks in advance.

Don't always give the #1 ranked guy the title fight; it doesn't work that way in real life all the time and it makes it more interesting when the hot hand who has 3 wins in a row gets the chance. Also just have fun with it. Make unrealistic matchups sometimes and bring guys back for short turnaround fights if you think it'll make your experience better. It happens in real MMA all the time.

Got to say, if you're going to focus on one weight class to add to via CAF flyweight is the place to go. Formiga, Cejudo, Moraga, Lineker (no weight cuts in video games!) and Makovsky are each fun adds that could do well in the division. There are even more if you want to keep going. Timothy Elliot is somehow a 5-0 champion in my universe so hopefully one of these guys can knock him off the top spot.

I just finished my 30th fight card and besides Elliot the other big surprises are Lamas having the Featherweight title (via submission over Aldo in the latest event) and Holly Holm being the women's champion. There is only one champion left that is the same as when it started (Pettis) and only one that mirrors reality (Werdum.)

Hopefully EA gets the new women's division into UFC 2. It'd be incredibly fun to play as Joanna Champion. Got to get women CAFs in there too though to make up for what I'm sure will be a pretty small roster unless some names develop down there fast.

Ok, thought I had this one figured out but it won't let me download game faces from my non-Playstation Plus account. Can you not do gameface CAFs or is there a workaround for that too?

edit: Nevermind, didn't realize you have to go through the full account setup as opposed to just doing a quick one.

I've been thinking about picking my "UFC Universe" back up...

Does anyone know where I can find or have any ratings for CAF's? I have some that I did before, but that was from a year ago so I would like to update them without doing a ton of research.

Nope. EA pretty much killed community CAF sites with their poor CAF system and the limited number of CAFs. I have 70 CAFs but many of the ratings are strictly based on my knowledge of their skills in comparison with the licensed fighters ratings.

With that said, if there is someone you need ratings for, I'll post it here if I've made them.

I'm mainly looking for guys like Bobby Green, Al Iaquinta, Aljamain Sterling, etc. Before this week I hadn't played the game in a couple of months and now that all of the DLC fighters have been released I have some free CAF space.

If you have your ratings in a spreadsheet that you can send me that would be extremely helpful.

When I make CAFs I wouldn't say I really strive for accuracy. I go based on my gut feeling about a fighter and try and make the OVR make sense with them in relation to their division. It gets me close enough to have a good time.

Yeah, I actually just started knocking some rating out today at work. I had an old spreadsheet that I was usually last year and just started rating guys by comparing them to other fighters. Honestly, I don't know who has the stronger right hand or left hand or whatever. I just want them in the game. Now I've just have to create them and give them some abilities (mainly just based off of memory) and they'll be good to go.

If anyone is interested or wants to give any feedback here's the link.

The guys in red are the ones that I created today. The rest are from last year so some of their ratings aren't up-to-date.... Also, I'm still deciding on my last few slots.

Is there a good website to use to find some CAFs for UFC? I know we can't download them, but step by step instructions on how to create said fighter would be cool, or at least something close to it.

Not that I'm aware of. For THQ's UFC 3 MMA-CAF was excellent. However, like aholbert said a few post ago, EA UFC's CAF restrictions pretty much killed that community.

So creating 10 CAFs really isn't even a game changer?

Well, you can pretty easily make more than 10 if you feel like setting up different PSN profiles. The lack of sharing really hurts more than anything.

Depending on what you're looking for 10 might be enough though. If you've just got a few favorites that aren't in you can make them up with 10. If you want to actually expand several classes to include top 10 guys that aren't in there aren't nearly enough.

                                Re: Running your own UFC

If you're on PS4 it's really not that difficult to switch back and fourth between profiles so you can have more than 10 CAF's (just do a division per profile). Once you get all of your PSN's and EA Accounts set up, then it's not too bad. Creating a fighter with Game Face doesn't take too terribly long and some of them look pretty good. I think the only ones of mine that I really, really hate was Stefan Struve, Jimi Manuwa and Max Holloway. The rest are decent enough for me.

Basically adding fighters adds a lot of depth to your Universe. You're able to make so many more matchup's by adding both UFC vets, prospects, guys who aren't in the UFC or even legends. Plus, you don't have to worry about having the same fights over and over. It's definitely takes some work and is a labor of love, but once you get everyone made, then it's smooth sailing from there.

Of course, I'm hoping for a CAF Share Feature for their next game so that most of the work is cut out.... but I'm not going to hold my breath on that one.
