Hey Jeremy I cut a finished event from the upcoming events and pasted it into Event history but it didnt update anything in the master Tab what am I doing wrong here ?

It's probably one of two things:

1) If you using the original fights that I posted, then the formatting is off. I copied the real life fights from Wiki and there was a gap before the fighters name when I pasted them into the Upcoming Events Tab. Because of that gap the formula isn't recognizing them.

To fix this go to the Master tab and click copy each of the fighters individually, then paste (values) them into the Events History page.

2) I just noticed this one a few minutes ago. It looks like somewhere along the line some of the fighters formulas with MY Wins and Losses's got out of order. To check this go to column O and hit F2 on any fighter. When you hit F2 if another fighter is highlighted in column A, then it's wrong.

To fix this simply copy and paste a formula of a fighter that is correct.

Here's a quick excel fix on how to mass correct them.

1) Go to the Wins and losses in Aisling Daly's row.
2) Go O3 and P3 and click on O3 and Drag through P3 and Q3.
3) Right click and select Copy
4) Go to O4, hold CTRL and and drag all of the way to the last fight (Travis Brown)
5) Right click and when the tools menu comes up select Paste/Special Formula

That should correct it.

If anyone needs any help or has any questions about this please PM me. I don't want to clog this thread up with Excel questions.

I'll have an update out shortly with these fixes.

Haha pretty funny. This was Penn's 2nd fight in my universe. He had a nice KO in his first fight against Johnny Hendricks. This was Diaz's 2nd fight after a R1:KO over Saffiedine.

Everything is working like a charm and im cruising in my universe. I appreciate it. I wish I could open the 1.3 spreadsheet at work, but its zipped, so I cant download anything, cause I want to add the new fighters.


But quickly, you know Alex Caceres is in the wrong division too?

The results/notes of my last two cards:

Notes:
- Two old timers when at it in a classic fight with Barnett controlling most of the fight, but Cro Cop landing some hard shots as well. Nothing really significant as far as the rankings will come from that fight, however it was a crowd pleaser, for sure.

- One prospect continued their climb towards the top of their division while another one faltered. Aljamain Sterling called out Bryan Caraway a few months ago and he almost got more than he bargained for barely edging out the TUF 14 alum. Sterling now has a five fight winning streak and is calling for a title shot. However, he may need a win over a Top 5 guy before he can get it. Juliana Pena on the other hand came up short against veteran Sara McMann. McMann had lost 3 of 4 fights (albeit against tough opponents), but with another win or two she could get back into title contention.

UFC 3

- There were two great title fights on this card with both winners getting knockouts and both likely being down on the cards when the KO came. Rockhold next title defense will come against Jacare who Luke won the Strikeforce title from in 2011. Faber came through as a huge underdog to upset Cruz. It's hard to say what's next for Faber... it could be a rematch against Cruz since Cruz had been winning the fight before Uriah's Hail Mary KO or it could be against his former friend and training partner TJ Dillashaw. There's plenty of vets (Assuncao & McDonald) and prospects (Sterling and Almeida) looking to climb there way up the latter and get their shot at 135, as well.

- CM Punk notched his first victory in the UFC in impressive fashion. He said that he wants to fight again in 2016 and the UFC Hype Train is ready to take him for a ride.

Plus, since Flyweight through Featherweight are linked then you can really use him at which ever weight class you want to.

I did notice last night that CM Punk needs to be moved. For some reason I thought that he was a Middleweight, but he's a Welterweight and unfortunately you can't mix those divisions.

It looks good, however I know pretty much every division by memory so it would just be more work and more clutter for me.

Also, with the way you have it your Results and Awards won't automatically update on the Finishes and Master tabs if you care about those sorts of things. The Results have to be the actual name KO, Decision, etc. with nothing else entered in that column. I actually shortened mine on my personal spreadsheet to KO, TKO, SUB and D. For Awards the fighters names need to be in the column for the particular award they won. It would be two fighters for Fight of the Night and I have two Performance of the Nights awards for every Event, as well.

For reference look at my Events in Post #98.

Pretty much.
If you're not familiar with Excel then do this:

- Cut and Paste Punk to WW on the Rankings Page
- Insert a row where he would go in the WW section on the Master worksheet
- On the Master worksheet left click on the number of the row that he's currently in (mw) in on (on the actual number on the far left) and select copy
- Paste into the inserted row in WW
- Delete the row that he was in in MW

That should be it.
