Official EA UFC 2 Q/A Thread

With the game just dropping and people still figuring things out I feel we could all benefit from a designated location to find out where things are in the game, how to unlock X, where event mode is (lol j/k), etc. Also, I feel it'd be good to clear out some of the clutter.

So any questions, please drop them in here.

Haha.
I'll start it out,is there a way to keep the scoreboard the same throughout the fight, right now, it starts out showing trunk colors, and names, then, after the first min, it turns into only highlighted bars and time left.

Is there any way to change how weight,height and reach is displayed on screen,i find it annoying that the OSD doesn't match the commentary/fighter introduction.

I have the australian(european) version of the game.

Edit: changing language to US worked, thanks fishingtime for the tip.

Anyone have any general tips on blocking ground transitions? I can get into dominate positions, but I'm horrible at blocking the AI from working right back to where we started.

Should I be more patient and sometimes just wait for them to make a move and then block it, as opposed to trying to block one while I'm going about my business striking or going to transition again?

Someone post on the sub that changing your language to English (US) on your system will make it like how PPVs are. It is worth a shot.

This video explains it the best. But basically you have to wait for their transition animation to start before you can try to block it.

That for posting that video. Really helped out a lot on defending transitions.

I think I'm getting the hang of this. The game is deep as hell and I'm trying to go from just knocking people out to developing a ground sub game.

No and you can't take your career mode fighter out of career mode and use him lol

You can in fact import a created fighter into career mode as long as it's been created outside of it. So, yes, you can used created fighters in and outside of career. Though to be fair, it's the template you're using. The stats are not the same.

Good question. I had almost max stamina for my roster fighter career mode, but chin and everything else were pretty bad. Of course I did a boxer to start. It might be tied to that and the training sessions. I know the athleticism stats are tied to it somehow, but figuring out the best formula will take time.

It will take time but I mean honestly what's the point of going through career mode a bunch of times to figure it out? There isn't any replay value.

I think there is some. The trying to figure it out being one. Not much though. You can't simulate the other fights to watch, etc. I totally get that the replay value is little to none.
