This is the problem right here. You should not be allowed to sit on block. This is a bracing block, and would tire your arms out in the first if you held it like that. I would actually like to see either arm fatigue for sitting on it, or your block dropping automatically after a certain time frame. Only let it stay up if you are taking strikes. Each time it drops, let the time frame for it to come back up be slower and slower. So if someone holds block the whole time, they won't even be able to block later in the match effectively.
Show me a fighter that uses a bracing block the whole match. You will never find one. Even Roy Nelson's block isn't a bracing one. He just holds his hands up differently. He braces for incoming strikes. Not the whole time he has his hands up.
Also, when you sit on block, all you have to do to parry is hit a button to parry. Maybe just adding fatigue and adding the parry timer to the block button could work. Basically, they would have to reset the block to parry.
