Re: I hate the parry so, so much
I do, but the parries are horrible because they allow you to sit on block and still parry. I always mix it up. Win some, lose some. Your goal is to hit the head though, and right now you have to start off with body shots just to do that. Not only is that not realistic, it makes us have to spam the body to open up the head.@bikingforjesus on InstagramComment

Re: I hate the parry so, so much
Yeah, I do that too much as well, old habit since EA MMAThe sitting on high block looks worse. Reminds me of Undisputed. Everyone just holding high block the whole time. Why they haven't punished people for this yet is beyond me. They had a stamina drain for sitting on block last game. This is the biggest issue right now, and I've been harping about it since the beta. Anyone who thinks I change things, is sadly mistaken. I've been complaining about this since the beta.
. I wouldn't mind in the addition to the parry that the block is reduced as well, making movement the first line of defense, on the condition that body jabs are massively nerfed as well.

Yh does kinda remind me of undisputed. The difference though was you couldn't parry so you had to actually rely on the more effective defensive tatics like overall movement and head movement. This game noobs can just walk around holding high block and fish for easy offense through it.The parries are trash and was obviously put in place to help the noobs. The sitting on high block looks worse. Re: I hate the parry so, so much
Parry plus elbow is crazy powerful, probably shouldn't even post that. I don't do it much, but when it happens to me it hurts bad, and spinning elbows very frequently cause heath event after a parry.
Head parry counters should be toned down, and body roundhouse from southpaw thrown against orthodox fighter should get toned up a bit. Maybe all body strikes after parry.
For the most part the parry feels as easy as ever to pull off, especially against predicable opponent.Comment

Re: I hate the parry so, so much
Getting parried followed by head kick or jab, jab, jab, head or body kick is so cringy, its the only defense some use and it ticks me off sometime lol because it saves too many ppl from having to survive off actual head movement & footwork but leave it to other players idk what im talking about

Re: I hate the parry so, so much
It's just a system put in place to help noobs..easy to do, not complex enough and over rewarded. All the qualities of a noob system. Hold block, press any button and parry and reap a huge reward. That's why everyone just sits on block and fishes for them. Too much emphasis is put on them and thus they are pretty much the most effective method of defense in the game, when irl it's not this way at all.Parry plus elbow is crazy powerful, probably shouldn't even post that.
