Re: The Vitor punch flail animation needs removing
big part of it
and/or some sort of 'bull rush' against the cage --- sort of a mix between strikes, pushing against cage into clinch, and a takedown (if you want to take it to ground; but maybe all you want to do is bull rush them into cage so you can land big strikes while they're still rocked --- you should be able to pick your attack for 'finish the fight')

Re: The Vitor punch flail animation needs removing
In your video Fish, I'm thinking:
* I always love seeing JBJ get knocked stupid; good job lol
* I see where he 'stalled out' while stepping right after being rocked --- you were toe to toe to him --- and he was pretty much pinned against cage --- but he was able to stall you out a bit. Which is definitely not realistic and conducive to Finish The Fight.
* Would be nice if, in that situation where JBJ is rocked and you're going for finish against cage, your fighter would have automatically pushed/pinned JBJ to the cage. Not a full CLINCH but sort of just holding him there while you can unleash hell with your other hand. Sort of single collar clinch against cage, but not that. lol
* I don't like the computer doing things automatically but don't really think we need a push button. But notice how Rumble automatically sticks his hand out in that scenario? Instead of just putting his hand on JBJ's head to punk him, lol, use that hand to HOLD HIM for punishment's sake
Just how I envision this type of scenario playing out in a revamped finish the fight scenario. If JBJ is hurt BAD; back to fence; and Rumble is coming full steam -- he shouldn't be able to take a few small side-steps as a sort of 'glitch' to stall out lolLast edited by Boiler569; 08-10-2016, 03:51 PM.PSN: Boiler569

Re: The Vitor punch flail animation needs removing
That's not the case at all. Losing is losing. Losing by having my arms taken from 10% damage all the way to 100% and getting KO'd because of a dumb animation combined with a certain set of perks is a different story. What happened to me is severely broken and should never ever happen in a game. If you lost the way I did, you would see the same problem with that scenario and completely agree with me. You're acting like I'm just moaning because I lost a game when in reality, what happened to me shouldn't even exist. Let's see what you say when I run into you and pound you out using the side saddle glitch. Losing by a broken element of the game is not the same as losing as you would normally so as far as I'm concerned you can keep your mouth shut if you've got nothing to add to this thread.
Also, I couldn't give a * about leaderboards or rankings or any of that.Comment

Re: The Vitor punch flail animation needs removing
It looks ridiculous as it did on UFC 1 and more importantly it's insanely broken when the fighter throwing the strikes has perks like "opportunist" and "vengeful".
Yesterday I was playing against the #1 ranked guy in Heavyweight for ultimate team. I controlled the fight and won the first 4 rounds comfortably, I took minimal damage and was coasting towards a win when all of a sudden I get rocked from one strike (not complaining about that). It's easy to survive when your head is rocked, you just block your head and wait for the rock to pass then you can side step and block accordingly, but what happened next disgusted me. He went into Vitor mode and threw literally 12-15 punches in a row sending my arm damage from roughly 10% all the way to 100%, smashing my block and dropping me for a free finish. After the fight I was wondering how he managed to throw so many strikes and do so much damage in such a short space of time without completely gassing himself out. The answer was vengeful and opportunist level 4/5.
This animation NEEDS removing. It's ugly, it's pointless and it's unnecessary. There should never be an instance where someone can destroy your arm health from practically 0-100% and get an automatic finish all in the space of 5 seconds. Please get on this GPD.
As a minor solution - as i think u know in Health event you still can Parry and Sway.
Could it help in this?Comment

2. It's a dumb feature IMO. Doesn't look in the slightest bit realistic, smooth or good in any way. It's simply "here's a rock, now watch the other guys arms flap about while he runs like a dinosaur".Comment

Re: The Vitor punch flail animation needs removing
I'm not too sure if you can sway or parry during this scenario / animation but even if you could there's too many punches in such a short space of time to realistically be able to parry or sway. If you parried one, a ton more would just follow. If you tried to sway, you'd end up getting clipped by one anyway.Comment

Re: The Vitor punch flail animation needs removing
Finish the fight should be in our hands. Hate to keep dipping back to the old days but in fight night champion when you rocked someone i thought it was really balanced. I could usually survive the standing rocks, it was pretty easy, but i also had some awesome combos to put people down when they were rocked. I never felt like what was happening was outta my control. Even when i lost i could look back and know where i could have done better. This game is the same usually, but things like the OP scenario you can't really look back and learn anything from it.
Losing via exploits or broken mechanics is the most infuriating. Things that are cheap, unrealistic, and that you have no control over is enough to send controllers flying.Comment

If u Parry successfully opponents strike it will break his rtf sequence, but it needs some more testing.
U can Sway during health event BUT sway is VERY depends on yr stamina, on low stamina sway speed becomes very slow. So you need to use holded Sway for ex hold back sway while head health event as the opponent is accented to yr head.Comment

Re: The Vitor punch flail animation needs removing
It's really bad.
It triggers when you don't want it to too often.
It drains your stamina too much.
When it does work and get the KO/KD, it's usually some glitchy punch (esp if the rocked fighter is going for a TD) with your arm going through your own body somehow.Comment

Re: The Vitor punch flail animation needs removing
Just got hit with this trash.
Was destroying this kid for 3 rounds. He's literally just throwing Flying Knees, and Spin Kicks, holding L1 and spamming single strikes. I'm just taking my time, using movement, sticking, and moving. Dodging, and parrying shots. Really just lighting this guy up, while avoiding almost everything he throws.
Then it happens.
On his 100th Flying Knee attempt, he actually connects, flash rocks me(from zero prior head damage), FTF initiates immediately, Hook, KO.
Rage inducing losing to complete & total bums.PSN: Lord__Hazanko

Those 3 perks help dramatically when trying to finish a fight, trust me.Comment
