Correct.
Taunt with Holloway in the last 20 secs of the round (he'll point to the ground, so it's obvious that it's happened). If your opponent taunts back you enter into a state for the remainder of the round where takedowns are disabled, clinch is disable, stamina drain is disabled and counter damage bonus is on for every strike.
Oh, and your backwards movement speed is cut in half.
Basically you are agreeing to stand and bang, and the game enforces that agreement.
Can you rock opponent in this state?
If yes, will FTF happen during this state and kill it
Can you finish the fight since there is no ground game?

few questions about this:

The ground game still exists, just no takedowns.
You could still get tripped up by a leg kick or something like that.
KO mode was designed differently.Comment

Couch play, it works the same as I described.
Against the AI...I'm almost 99% sure the AI won't do it. Maybe we can convince Skynet to fix that...Comment

Ya it would be kind of nice if SKYNET can somehow add this to offline CPU gameplay. Not every fight but against a striker it would be nice to see them do that in the 3rd or 5th round of a fight.Comment

As you said, you need logic to control frequency, making sure it's done with the right fighters only, etc.Comment

Dude you can't ask for them to make every AI opponent to play his game, what if you taunt a grappler with him? or someone who's hurt and the AI should want to clinch or just walk back which is more realistic instead of them automatically playing max holloway's gameComment
