well to my untrained eyes that looks like basic bounce stepping, and doesn't look anything like backdash in ufc, at all. Hopping around is one thing, and backdash in the game seems nothing like that.
I do see a lot of hoping around in ufc. Gunnar and Wonderboy have used it effectively, but there bounce stepping. The fighters bounce around a lot, for extended periods of time
Watching the fighters feet, legs, stance, ect is nothing like flicking backwards in the game at all imo. Especially the way most use it.
it might seem super basic to you if you train and box professionally, but the lack of amateur boxers and pro mma fighters that don't bounce step makes me think otherwise.
on top of that you can't close distant fast unless it's the wonky finish the fight. Also it's not boxing, or fight night. It's mma with kicks; leg strikes, takedowns, ect.
Just because you like do to something that others don't like is no reason to get butt hurt or defensive about it.
The fact that backdash doesn't look odd to someone that thinks bounce stepping is super basic for mma and also think the game depicts it well is confusing.
different strokes for different folks. the next time we "friendly spar" you can show after you insist on picking both our fighters or try to get me to use Punk against your "realistic" sandbagged cafs.
