Very probably not. FPS locked games usually use the FPS to do the physics and other things, so making one version 60 and one 30 isn't really a thing they can easily do.

I would like 60 but it isn't a deal breaker.

Most of the feedback is pointless?

Almost all the feedback, on this thread at least, has been very constructive, accurate, and given by people who have a pretty good idea what's going on and where the real significant gaps in this franchise are

luckily, the devs do in fact listen to the community and made some great patches in UFC 2 due to fan input, so I'm definitely hoping for the same for UFC 3 !

i like all the patches except the one that make defense weaker, i don't use parry, and ill never use it cause it's a broken thing... the problem to be honest are the players, they broke the game... unfortunally the offline mode isn't funny

I completely agree. 30fps is one of the reasons I uninstalled UFC 2, just can't take it anymore, i've been used to 60fps way before UFC 1 came out, and now that I upgraded my GPU and upgraded my monitor to a new 144hz (with that sweet G-sync) I'm not agreeing to go back to UFC 3 no matter how excited I am to find out any details on the game and to see gameplay of course.

A more deep experience as a whole. Which goes from CAF to Career mode. That's for one.

I've been playing around recently with For Honor and getting into it, and I know it's a significantly different game than UFC, but just as a fighting game vs fighting game, it offers a very unique and fresh take on melee combat. And it classifies every playable character as something. It'll be "Fast. Counter-striker. Well-rounded." etc and those characters actually play as that, and you have to explore the game more and more to understand how to play as each one, which styles beat which styles, etc.. And everyone is unique to their style. A Samurai doesn't stand or fight like a Knight, for instance.

So it just kind of opened my mind a little as to what UFC could accomplish if they really wanted to with the gameplay. Something I'd like to see is fighters having their perks actually be their fighting style, in a sense. Knockout artists fight like knockout artists. When I play an AI knockout artist, I should have to worry about that knockout. When I play a grinder, they should fight like a grinder.

But of course, first and foremost towards the series, the gameplay needs a big overhaul. So lets think about that.

                      Oh, I forgot to add:

                      Stamina taxation on movement!

How can anyone expect me to believe, that if I run for 5 rounds, without throwing a jab, that my stamina won't go down at all? A lot of people fade from using a lot of footwork, so I'd like to see that added in somewhat. Think FIFA (if anyone plays it).

Plus... Should backwards movement be the same speed as forward movement? Idk.

This is exactly what I wanted to add after reading the first half of your comment and I'm glad someone brought it up! Moving backwards is DEFINITELY more taxing, ask anyone who trains and especially those who compete, you gas waaaay faster going backwards especially when your defending yourself in ANY way going backwards, very very important for UFC 3.

Joe Rogan talked about this too in multiple fights.

BUT, if they add movement taxation then general stamina needs to be higher because IMO compared to the UFC level of athletes, fighters in the game currently gas too quick anyway. So a lot needs to change in my opinion. It all depends on if the devs want it to be sim or arcadey. I'm praying they go with sim for the first time.

in Rousey vs Nunes there is audio of the corner and you can hear them yelling Head Movement because its an integral part of MMA so I hope UFC 3 has it like in Fight Night

Idk if i'm the only one who feels this way, but i'd also like to see realistic striking speed in the next game no matter your distance. Why am I punching like a slug from a certain distance, then when I get close to my opponent the punch speed then gets realistic? Punches should come out at the same speed no matter the distance, unless your fighter is gassed or something. It's ridiculous to be playing as guys like belfort and machida and striking like i'm gassed or underwater because i'm not right in their face. Being out of range doesn't magically make a strike come out slow. They need to correct this in the next game.

Definitely. Don't slow the punches down so drastically. That should only be for completely out of stamina. You should actually slow down the more your stamina does. Why should both be fresh if one guy blows his wad the whole fight? They should be handicapped like in real life.

We need the damage to float. Floating stats. UD3 once again showing it was really a great game design wise.

Yup fully agree. Floating stats is definitely needed. Like you said, you should only start to slow down the more your stamina goes down and it should also affect the amount of damage the strike does.
