Re: UFC 3 Event: What should I look for?
Can you see if there is any built in input lag on the movement controls based on speed/movement rating like there is now. This built in lag basically makes heavyweight unplayable online given the lack of appropriate connection filters.Comment

Re: UFC 3 Event: What should I look for?
I'm 50/50 on this. Some of the auto taunts/idles are realistic. Like Ben Henderson's where he steps back and moves the hair out of his face. Some of the other ones are trash though.Comment

Re: UFC 3 Event: What should I look for?
Can we punch while the opponent is transitioning now? In 2 the most obvious one to me was when you would transition to mount, postured up, and if the opponent started their transition fast enough it would block you from throwing even one regular punch. That was very annoying to me. The punch shouldn't deny the transition but we should be able to get one in.Teams: Minnesota Vikings, Cincinnati Reds, Marshall Thundering Herd, Virginia Tech Hokies (2010 alum)Comment

Re: UFC 3 Event: What should I look for?
the tko scenario! it was one of the worst part in ea ufc2. In UFC2, TKO scenario is completely wrong relates to recover system. KO animation is exactly the same as Knock down animation.
1. distinguish knock-out from knock-down. the rag-doll physics seems like very similar knockout and knockdown. it should be re-work.
2. the recover system has to go!! it should be remove in the game. it's a joke.

how to fix : Please refer to Undisputed 3.
- In Undisputed 3, At least you could block up and sway on the ground when knock-down. I think, this is really good and realistic.
- add "sway on the ground".

- bring back EA UFC1s stop the fight during GnP.

Please check and make sure the fighter stats match the fighterComment

Re: UFC 3 Event: What should I look for?
Moving your hair out of your face isn't taunting. I'm all for realistic character antics, but taunting should not happen automatically. I shouldn't have to explain to someone after a fight that it wasn't me that was being a douche, it was the game automatically doing it.
On another note, can you see if fighters who clearly have the ability to throw head kicks can actually throw a head kick in the game.Last edited by Evil97; 07-29-2017, 05:36 AM.Comment

Re: UFC 3 Event: What should I look for?
3 Things(1 & 2 offline, 3 online related):
- Movement & Movement Stats: EA UFC 2 has a big problem with this one that was overlooked by the devs/game-testers and was never addressed. Despite the stats saying you have X amount of movement speed, your height, body type & fighting style affect your movement speed and also your opponent's strike accuracy.
I've noticed it, thanks to the Mike Tyson I've been playing the past 6 months. He is the shortest guy in the Heavyweight division, he has 65 movement speed(maxed out), Overeem has like ~55 smth movement speed, but because his fighting posture is Maui Thai & because he has long limbs, he is moving from point A to point B faster than Mike Tyson, despite Tyson being given 65 movement speed. As a result, you can never run away with Mike Tyson & can never hunt down people like Overeem, even if you take the reach factor out of the equation, you can tell that fighters like Overeem or Werdum are moving faster, despite their stats showing that they have less movement speed than a guy like Tyson.
As it currently stands, theoretically, if they could race and they were moving on a straight line, Overeem would finish first, despite Mike Tyson supposedly being faster on the stats. Movement speed shouldn't affect how fast someone's feet are moving, but it should take into consideration the amount of distance is traveled in a specific amount of time. - Key Bindings for Taunts: Are we able to control the Taunts, if the player has more than 2 taunts? I mean, if you click the left or the right arrow currently, the taunts are completely random, have they added options to taunt while holding L1 Modifiers etc. to give us more control over specific taunting?
- Netcode Compensation, mainly for Grappling & stand-up movement as well: Although i doubt you'll be able to test this at those local play sessions , please do ask the developers if they have any system in place, to compensate for online lag & input lag or if they are planning to do so.
EA UFC 2's Timing based Ground Game is self-explanatory, however input lag effects on Striking often go overlooked. Is the new Striking System affected by that input lag, that could make you perform a clunky movement that won't get you into range to accurately land a strike? Is it affecting the speed of your combos & the responsiveness?

Re: UFC 3 Event: What should I look for?
The movement speed stat is just set up confusingly. Your right, it has nothing to do with how fast your opponent moves across the ring. You can test this by creating a CAF with 30 movement (my league CAF building secret
I do think it affects combos and sig strikes in a way however. I never worried about it on my 30 build because I maxed clinch and ground. Had max hand hand power with middle punching speed and still held my own on the feet. All the stand up stats are pretty useless because of the combo multiplier. Maybe punching and kicking speed matter the most.Last edited by Evil97; 07-29-2017, 08:14 AM.Comment

I actually think movement effects head movement and lunge speed, I could be wrong though.Half of this game is 90% mental - Tim Sylvia
