Re: Starving for new info on EA UFC3.
I suspect we are going to see some very creative strikers in UFC3. I'm personally REALLY looking forward to seeing how everyone evolves their game.Comment

The feints in UFC 2 weren't enough. I know I never fall for them, and the only people who really do are players who fish for parries the entire fight. Strike cancels are HUGE.

Most definitely. Just thinking about pawing out setup shots to finish someone off has me excited lol. I'm sure we're going to see some diverse attacks if this game plays out like it seems it will.

Here's something else that would be cool to have in the game... Vitor throws his rear hand out there and Bisping responds by slipping.... Straight into Vitor's head kick. This is a pretty common technique in MMA (Cerrone loves it) and if the game could emulate something like this it'd be amazing. I just don't know if it could work anywhere nearly as fluidly as it happens in real life.

Also GPD, thanks for all the small teasers. While we are all waiting for the official info to come out, it is really awesome to have some stuff to discuss and look forward to.
After giving it some thought I honestly would not be surprised if they don't go for a November trailer but they moved it to mid October instead. That November 4th card is easily the biggest card of the year and there isn't anything lined up after that yet.
I could see them going with a winner of 217 cover athlete next to Conor. All speculation though.
They made a pretty campaign out of the whole Conor vs Aldo fight for co-star with Ronda, for the last game. Interesting.
Plus, the pace at which we've been seeing gifs makes me think we are closer to the reveal trailer than we actually realize.Comment

True, but I would not want to bank on that. If they can't get Conor on there, they got absolutely nobody to make a big card with. But yeah, I guess we'll see. Still think this is the way they'll play it out though.Comment

Stipe v. Cain? Cyborg v. Holm? Other than that, they dont have a main event.Comment

Ideally we could get another vision style trailer to the lead up of 217 then a gameplay trailer during the show

Re: Starving for new info on EA UFC3.
Not only do you not fall for them but because the damage system is so trash you can't really benefit that much from someone biting on them anyway. Unless you throw some street fighter combo. Imagine feinting, drawing an opponents counter out, and smashing a shin into their skull.

Re: Starving for new info on EA UFC3.
Man this...this pisses me off more than anything right now. Hope to god it's been fixed. I remember this one time I fought a Conor online with Cerrone. He got pretty wreckless early in the round and started whiffing strikes...caught him whiffing THREE TIMES IN A ROW at one point and tagged him on counter hit with flush landed head kicks (lets not forget Cowboy has high lvl head kicks and perks that cater to them) to the dome. All I got were a few hit reactions. So after he saw he was being punished alot for being reckless, he calmed down a bit. Then later in the round he does some magic combo, ends it with a head kick and rocks me out of no where smh. It was at this very moment that I realized just how trash the damage system was lol.Comment
