Curious about sprinting. How far do you have to go at minimum, and what are the distance implications? I'd like to be able to sprint to close the distance without getting into range of punches, so I'm intrigued to know how the mechanic works.

Yeah, if anything, beta would tell us right?

Not necessarily. I wouldnt assume that just because the beta isnt 60fps that the retail game wont be.

Thats tough because Croke is resistant to even have Conor fight there. I doubt they would license the name for the game when they have been giving the UFC a hard time about using the venue for a fight.

Well, I think if that is the case for the beta, everyone should be assuming that. Better to be surprised at the end of it, than expect something that may not be happening.

Do you know if they'll be able to tweak smaller things throughout the beta as it occurs? Damage etc.

I don’t know but given that the beat is only 5 days, I doubt it. They are going to be focused on finalizing the retail game at that point

I would like the developer's to give us the option to customize real life fighter attributes 💯 so if we don't like how some fighter stats are set up will be able to change them at anytime.

I dont think this is the developer's call. Unlike most sports orgs, the UFC exerts more control over athlete's stats.

As Aholbert noted, it's not about us giving you that option. The UFC is holding all the cookies on this one. We don't have total control of stats.

Will takedown defense still be ridiculous? My biggest gripe in UFC 2 was the ease in which TD’s were stuffed from horrible positions. For example. Guy throws roundhouse kick to head, I duck under and go for TD, guy stuffs TD while standing on one leg. Please tell me this won’t happen.

LOL. I wouldnt jump to that conclusion either.

I don't think UFC cares much about fighter movesets. His ground game could be nerfed without too much stat reduction.

I am reading these forums since ufc 2 with pleasure.
Really excited that the stand up and movement has improved, and hoping of course to get into the beta.
One thing that hasnt been clear at this point for me:
Do you guys think it is still a possibility that we will get some sort of pride mode or some ruleset in that direction?
Is it already confirmed that it will not be in the next installment?
If that is not the case in ufc 3 , will it maybe possible to fight in a ring instead of an octagon?
That would be awesome and would make sense to me since there will be a stand up mode.
This way we could also play kickboxing matches in a ring for example.
I know it is a ufc game but it would feel very refreshing to switch it up sometimes.
Maybe some sort of online play included also but this is probabky wishful thinking,
Hope anyone can respond to this idea.

Sure? UFC in control of stats is a scary thought man.
