Whoever is in charge of the roster should be visiting other MMA forums, when there's a Mike Perry fight the internet goes crazy. People either love the guy or hate him, but no one is impartial. It's been like that since the Danny Roberts fight. He is the type of guy who isn't going to lose stock with a few losses. Not having him in at launch is a worse move than the SWBF2 Loot box controversy as far as I am concerned.

EA must really take that "worst company of the year" award seriously, I can see you guys are really in it to win it when it comes to that.

On June 2, 2017, Camozzi announced the expiry of his UFC contract and that he is now a free agent.

Only reason I suspected is because of his presence on /r/mma

He recently fought outside the ufc.

I would also like to see Anthony "Lionheart" Smith added to MW. He's 4-1 since returning to the UFC and currently on a 3 fight KO streak with his last win being over Hector Lombard.

This is one of the guys I considered major who was missing from mw.

This roster has been absolutely horrendous so far. So many notables missing from every single weight class that there's just no way they are able to get them all in the game. Roster is largely the same exact thing it was in UFC 2.

Dude just counting the names in the first page, there are 86 fighters (who have been in the UFC long enough) that have been omitted, half of which I would say are legit prominent names. 86, not yet counting the disappointments that are still to come with the other 4 weight classes, since womens flyweight isnt even in.

Of course, this is likely not the final roster, but so far it BLOWS given the number of fighters not included, or announced.

Serious question: What makes someone "prominent" in your eyes? I'm struggling to find 43 that are prominent.

Josh Emmett (I know why he is not in on launch day, but still someone who NEEDS to be added)
Matthew Lopez (Was in the top 15 prior to his most recent fight)

Zabit
Paulo Costa
Lando Vannata (Fan favorite, debuted over a year and a half ago)
Jason Knight
David Teymur
Andre Fili
Francisco Trinaldo (this one is inexcusable imo, tons of UFC fights and wins)
Rob Font (Top 15 BW)
Pedro Munhoz (Top 15 BW)
Brett Johns (Top 15 BW)
Rani Yahya (Veteran)
Ryan Hall (2-0 in UFC, although hasnt fought in over a year)
John Makdessi (Veteran)
Marcin Held
Marco Polo Reyes
Nordine Taleb
Warlley Alves (Former top prospect, decent amount of fights)

Whats wild is there arent that many left. There is two HW (Tybura and maybe Blaydes) and Two LHW (Pedro and Cannonier) that I would consider prominent left. There isnt a single woman that I consider prominent and is signed to the UFC thats not in the game imo. Unless you count the people Cyborg has fought before Holm (Evinger and others).

Natal retired and isn't a particularly popular fight, don't think Kampmann was in 2 for the same reason, not sure why Munoz was removed though

Honestly, if we get this 30ish as DLC fighters (which I understand is optimistic) we have a pretty good roster grandfathered in for future games, barring another massive spree of cuts.
