Dustin being one of my post played fighter, I really hope he gets updated if it ain't already done, and I also want Koch to be in too, he should have been in UFC 2 already.

Trinaldo is another big one. Diego Ferrerira, Prazeres, Koch (this one's big to me), and no Makdessi? Interesting...
Fili is a guy I've wanted to see in-game. Knight is a surprising miss, he was making a lot of noise for a while.

No Artem, no Jason Knight? No Fili, No Lando? And since Bam Bam is not at 155 I am already assuming Barberena wont be at 170 either. You gotta have fan favorites, and new prospects who have plenty of years left in them and will likely end up in the top 10 in a year or so. You can't just have classic guys who are on the way out of the sport and some of the newer higher ranked guys.
Roster is unacceptable already, I get that some of these guys might be patched in but the ones I listed in particular should have been on the roster from launch. I will actually feel insulted if that joke of a mma fighter, CM Punk is in this game again tomorrow and the guys I listed weren't at this point.

Bad news for you, Punk has already been confirmed. But yeah, it has been pretty bad so far. So many obvious inclusions that were missed. Seems they just copied the previous roster over, cut anybody who isn't with the UFC then only added a couple fighters. I recall GPD asking if we had to choose between two of these 3 choices...(1)
New gameplay content, (2) modifying current models, or (3) adding new fighters...a lot of people surprisingly picked 1 & 2. I think this was just out of emotion at the time, but I really hope most people see why 1 & 3 are more important now lol. I can deal with an outdated Elliott, fat headed Bruce Leroy and slimmer Ngannou if we can get some of these missing guys in the game. We have a lot of names missing I thought would make it in time for this game.Comment

ALOT of people picked 1 and 2. I was the only GC to pick 1 and 3.
Part of it is an online/offline thing. Online people dont really care of Pantoja or Andre Fili are in the game. They werent going werent going to use those guys in ranked.
Offline players care about depth for Career mode and Universe reasons.Comment

He was in UFC2 but has been removed from UFC 3 for some reason.
Hes one of my favorite fighters. Dude is extremely slick and technical. Extremely awesome fighter.
He still fights for the UFC at LW so I dont understand why he was removed.

This surprises me. I would think a large roster is a big selling point. Everybody I know, myself included, plays predominantly offline. I would think casuals would be more into more options versus putting a fresh coat of paint on existing ones. Also this game is a tough one to get the hang of so most casual
people would rather slug it out offline versus the ai instead of getting destroyed online. But perhaps I am mistaken.Comment

It shocked me too. It scared me a little because I dont want the dev team saying for patch 2 and 3 "Well we couldve created David Teymur and Jason Knight but people wanted Dillashaw's tattoos and Aldo's face and body updated"
I'm not saying that the latter isnt important to many here. Its just that I would prefer new fighters.Comment

The dev team has done a great job with both guys adding fighters into the game.
The problem for me this year is expectations. I really expected that even with all the guys leaving, the guys who were in would stay in and that meant we were adding guys on top. I'll admit I didn't think we'd have a bunch of OH MY GOD we got this guy guys, because based on what we had last year, we would be aiming for the second half of the division type guys.
But up until this point with the roster reveal, it feels like I'm missing what was added roster wise and the biggest disappointment is at LW so far. Bantamweight and Flyweight aren't deep anyway. Featherweight is decent. But lightweight is DEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP. It shouldn't be hard to identify 10 or so guys that for one reason or another would be cool to add.
We've still got the rest of the week and I'm optimistic for welterweight, but I've definitely tempered my excitement for the part of the promotion of the game I was most excited for.

The UFC didnt renew his contract, they must have thought he was too boring or worth too much for his wages. Hes currently a free agent but wont be returning to the UFC so he got axed.
