Yeah, I'm definitely gonna play it as well. A couple more who aren't on the main list upfront, JARRED BROOKS for flyweight (undefeated when he joined in July 2017!), same for MARTIN BRAVO for lightweight in 2016, and there is also AUGUSTO MENDES for Bantamweight. Definitely not guys who would make us say "GOD I wish I could pick Martin Bravo right now", but u get the picture.

And to aholberts point I agree, we here on the forum scrutinize the game more than most and to many, the omissions won't be a make or break point but i think its fair to say that at least half of the people who buy the game are hardcore fans. Which even if true, is probably not enough to matter anyways.

Honestly for what I play, how I play and how little of a stickler I am for gameplay, I really could see the next couple days being a make or break for me.

I've got a solid universe already going. And UFC 2 has more fighters for me to choose from.

There isn't an actual universe mode in the 3rd game, I'm fine with the striking in the 2nd game, so I'm kind of struggling for a reason to spend the money.

I really never thought I'd be that guy, but I think I'm that guy right now, especially the more logically I think about it. I know the gameplay is improved. And I know most care about that more than I do. But a deep roster is very, very important to me in lieu of not having a universe mode.

The striking changes are pretty much whatever to me. I have plenty of fun playing UFC 2. An updated roster is an extremely big deal for me.

We aren't even halfway through the reveal and we are missing so many fighters, and the fighters we do have have 4 year old character models. That's just crazy to me.

Been waiting so long for this. Have had so many conversations with my league friends about what fighters we are gonna use. What fighters we are most excited to play as. So much hype. So much. And half the fighters we have been talking about aren't even in the game....

Insane levels of disappointment so far.

Every time I pop in on here if I only scroll around for about a minute. I always find you complaining about something!

You should maybe keep playing UFC2 using your elite head movement, and save yourself the stress, and disappointment of UFC 3.

Dude it really really is in a game like this especially with it being the UFC, the marquee promotion with the most depth. Some people may see that as being extremely nitpicky and I understand but for there to not be that much improvement since UFC 2 roster-wise is a joke.

suggesting that for an incredible experience, a 420-500 player roster (including multiple weight-class fighters) would do the trick. We'll be lucky to get 300. I know it's just wishful requesting and I don't want to seem entitled, and it is much easier to type up names than it is to develop a game but oh what couldve been.

Half is way to big of an estimate and even the hardcore community can’t agree on it. We had people here saying that if they had to choose they would choose updates like tattoos and hair cuts over new fighters.

Now we shouldn’t have to choose but if we do I want new fighters.

One other thing. I can’t think of one major WW that is missing from the roster now that Till is dlc. I can only think of 1 must have MW and maybe 2-3 mw fighters that are borderline.

LHW isn’t bad either. Hw however isn’t going to be great but that’s more of an issue with the fact that hws have been disappearing from the ufc.

I never cared much for tattoo/hair updates. I can see why others do but eh, I see these people fight 3 times a year at best and I don't really keep up with their haircuts and latest tattoo additions. I can understand it though, but I just don't care for that stuff.

Hopefully they can do something that makes everyone happy.

This was the roster I came up with. 297 fighters so within the range we supposedly have here. This is a very current and doable roster I thought. Do not understand why something closer to this didn't happen.

As much as I love MMA, this is just one more of too many disappointments for me to justify rewarding EA with 60-70$s recently. Will buy it later on a big sale, hopefully they got a better roster by then.

Early 2018 will be a good time for gaming so I will be fine until then. Looks like I'll be breaking out the arcade stick for my fighting game needs in a couple weeks instead of punishing a ground cheeser with elbows from Jason Knight's Rubber Guard.
Still really looking forward to G.O.A.T. career mode when I get it tho, sounds like they did an amazing job on that this time around so not sure how long I can hold out, roster is a shame tho.

Part of it is an online/offline thing. Online people dont really care of Pantoja or Andre Fili are in the game. They werent going werent going to use those guys in ranked.

Offline players care about depth for Career mode and Universe reasons.

Is there any chance for fighter appearance updates after release? I realllllly want an update for Dillashaw!
