Stat Change: Submission Defence: 88 > 94

Reason: BJJ Black Belt with submissions over Dan Henderson and Nakamura, brother and training partner of one of the best heavyweight BJJ artists of all time.

Never been submitted.

Most of the guys with sub-90 defence have been tapped atleast once. Lil Nog has great defensive BJJ, his wrestling and attack aren't that great and he didn't look good at all in the Bader fight.

But still, the man has never been tapped, 88 seems a bit low given that accomplishment.

Jeremy Stephens should get Tree Chopper, at least LVL 3, maybe even 4. I've said that before, how do you get inspired to revamp leg kicks by Stephens destroying Melendez and not give him the ability to do that in the game?

Aldo, Mendes and Yair.

Now most who know me know that out of all that fighters I use, I use Jose Aldo the most. So initially when I saw Jose Aldo's Stamina at 88 I was iffy on it.
Aldo only had trouble with the 4th and 5th rounds of a fight when he wasn't controlling the tempo, and even then, bar Max Holloway who's output and constant stance switching was a perfect foil to his Dutch Muay Thai Style, he has gone the distance successfully, and obviously much more than Yair.

So when I saw Yair's striking Stamina at 93 vs Aldo at 90, I was appalled. Who has Yair fought in a 5 rounder? Has there been anybody who put the pressure on Yair in a 3 rounder that made him work? Charles Rosa, which was a split decision victory? Alex Caceres, another Split Decision victory. We saw what happened when he was put up against Frankie Edgar, and yes although that was mainly a grappling beatdown, he was beat in most of the boxing exchanges with Frankie regardless that set up those takedowns.


Whereas Aldo's resumé and track record speaks for itself.


5 rounds with:
Mark Hominick (the fight everybody mentions about him gassing despite him having a terrible weight cut and winning 4 rounds handily.) 49-46

Uriah Faber (Leg Kick Brutality) 50-45 officially, many media outlets scored the fight 50-44 and even 50-43 for Aldo.

Kenny Florian (Who kept the pressure on Aldo throughout the fight and Aldo was still fresh by the end.) 48-47 for Aldo.

Beat Chang Sung Jung in Round 4, DESPITE breaking his foot with the first Leg Kick he threw, and was fresh prior to the finish (yes I know Jung threw his arm out, Aldo was in control for 4 rounds regardless with a broken foot)

Ricardo Lamas (4 rounds cruise control, outstriking him, final round got reversed, mitigated any damage Lamas gave out from top position, easy 49-46 for Aldo.

Fight of the Year 2014 vs Chad Mendes

That fight alone speaks for itself.

Frankie Edgar (UFC 156 & 200)

Whereas Frankie's pace did help him win round 4 in their first meeting, Aldo shut Frankie down in their second, and won handily 49-46, 5 rounds easy breezy. And Frankie has 95 striking Stamina in the game, and an overall 94 Stamina.


Not asking for anything too crazy, but come on.
When Aldo is in control, the fight is his and his track record is obviously much better than Yair's.

93/94 Striking Stamina for Aldo is reasonable if you watch all of those fights. No way should Yair's striking stamina be at 93 until he fights somebody within the top 5-10. I can be alright with that if Aldo matches that. Hell, a boost in Toughness being that he beat Chang Sung Jung with a broken foot, and in both Holloway Losses fought till the bitter end. Featherweight Legend.

And like my case for Aldo, Mendes should NOT have 88 stamina for a MULTITUDE of reasons: The pace he generally fights at, his war with Aldo in which he went toe to toe with a striking beast, aside from those two setbacks to McGregor (on two weeks notice) and Edgar, he is undoubtedly one of the most fit fighters in the division (NCAA D1 Finalist at that), and a boost to his striking stamina to 91/92 and endurance to 90 would better represent that.

Hi I would like a buff to gsp chin, he has a 87 chin in ww while fighters like demian Maia who has a 92 chin dos anjos a natural lw has a 90 chin, Donald cerrone 88 chin also a natural lw, and Conor mcgregor 94 chin at ww is crazy but In gsp ww fights he’s only been dropped a couple of times I believe he should have one of the highest rated chins but I understand he is older now but 87 is way too low especially if Maia is 92. Now at mw Maia chin went down to 88 so why didn’t gsp go down? Rockhold has a glass chin we all know this so I’m confused how they have the same chin rating and Michael bisping in his last two fights has got dropped and finished viciously but still has a 90 chin and has taken way more beatings than gsp. Victor Belford 92 chin is crazy especially watching his last 4 fights. Well I rest my case I really hope you guys look into gsp chin stat I feel very weird seeing it so low compared to other fighters who get ko’d often.

Not that cross weight class stat comparisons are valid, but that's 1 point higher than 16 time (MMA/K1) KO veteran Overeem.

Only times I've seen GSP hurt was the Serra fight, Hendricks and when Condit snuck that kick upside his head. 89 seems more appropriate looking at everyone else's chin.

Not that cross weight class stat comparisons are valid, but that's 1 point higher than 16 time (MMA/K1) KO veteran Overeem.

Only times I've seen GSP hurt was the Serra fight, Hendricks and when Condit snuck that kick upside his head. 89 seems more appropriate looking at everyone else's chin.

Overeem has been KO'd 17 times, 3 times in kickboxing and 14(!) times in MMA

16 wasnt bad for a guess off the top of my head then lol.

Also, Justin Scoggins weight at Flyweight is listed at 135.

His striking stats are also generically low.
He's not a half bad karate kickboxer, his moveset reflects this rather well but his striking stats are a very vanilla 84-5 average.

Same as his grappling, which makes him seem a like an all rounder when he should feel like striking is his best aspect.

Maybe Speed 84 - 87
Accuracy 85-88
Footwork 84-87

Nothing major, just something to make him feel more unique.

Well, atleast if he wins next month hopefully a slight buff can happen.

I totally agree. Why do they all have insane chins? and how is tito a better grappler than DC or jon jones? I feel sure they are gonna change this pretty soon.

Ross Pearson has some of the best headmovement in the entire UFC. He needs a buff to his headmovement. Just watch literally any of his fights. Hes slipping punches left and right.

His health stats feel capped by the fact he is "Mid-tier"

His current stats are:
Chin: 86 (despite never being KO'd)
Body: 87
Legs: 87 (despite being invulnerable to checks apparently)

We just saw him compete and perform very well on a broken arm in a weight class above his usual one. And he was there all fight, ate some BOMBS from a MUUUCH improved Platinum Perry.

Can his health. At the very least. Please be appropriately buffed, an 86 chin on a guy who hasn't been KO'd and is know for his ability to eat a shot is silly.

His only TKO loss is a cut stoppage.

Edit: I hope Platinum isn't buffed, that performance matched his formerly OP stats.
To put it another way, after that performance I think Perrys current stats have moved from over the top to roughly accurate.

Now, one thing I remembered in UFC 2, Jose Aldo had a flying knee to the body.

Is Dan Hooker ever going to get any love? Yall pumped up his power and chin to like 88-89 and he keeps killing people. He's not even in lightweight either. I think they are waiting for more people to speak up about it. Hopefully he KO's his next opponent again and one of the devs finally accepts he is a future contender.
KO'd Pearson, Miller, Burns and subbed Diakese all at lightweight and all of those people are in the game.
