UFC 229 Khabib vs McGregor

Conor McGregor

+1 TD Defense ( Even though Mcgregor has committed more fouls than an nba player. 1.) hooking the glove. 2.) pulling the shorts 3.) feet in the cage. 4.) knee to the face on the ground and not even a warning, he did legitimately show good defense when he did before cheating against the cage )

OTB remains the same. Showed very good positional awareness when his legs were trapped initially, he just eventually got overwhelmed technically.

-3 Grapple Stamina

The vaunted power Conor was known for was zapped because of the grappling exchanges and this needs to be the same way for him in game. You can out grapple a McGregor on the ground and he can still have similar stamina to you the next round and high level grapplers in the game can confirm this against other elite players (i.e. Papadoc60 vs The Real Octopus)

Chin -1

Sub Defense -2

Khabib Nurmagomedov

+3 striking speed. He was consistently able to jab McGregor, the one who was the supposed superior striker, levels beyond him and he landed CLEAN when he did. His speed definitely caught many, including myself off guard with his "Muhammad Ali" jab.

+3 Accuracy

+1 Power

+2 to Heavy Hooks.

Where are you getting heavy hooks from when it was his overhand that hurt Conor ?

Sometimes you can catch dudes who attack your body once you’re rocked.

Never seemed of any use to me, really. Then again, I may have benefited from it without realising. But I don't really throw back consciously when in a rocked state so I don't know.

His strking speed definitely deserves a boost, it's pedestrian compared to the rest of the division. That overhand he dropped Conor with was soooooo damn fast.

They come from the same tree of thought.
When it comes down to it, an overhand is really a long ranged hook.

And honestly, even before the Conor fight, Khabib was known for his shovel hook, dropping people with it (Thiago Tavares, Horcher etc) and I wish it was his own signature move, but I'll settle for a buff in heavy hooks and overhand.

Agree with everything apart from the -1 to Conors chin. That overhand would’ve ended most fighters and it only just dropped him, his recovery was very, very impressive from it.

Also please update his fighter model, hate his skinhead look.

I loved it when the game dropped, that's how he looked against Mayweather. But yeah, I wouldn't mind a vs. Alvarez look. Vs. Khabib he looked a lot like when he fought Mendes.

Take a look at Conor's chin stat, it is EXTREMELY high. -1 would not kill him. In game terms, that was the Stage 1 KD, in picture perfect fashion.
