Re: The ground game is broken, please fix it
The UT fighters are so skewed towards one direction that being good at one thing means you are terrible at others, the difference is just a little easier to see and more frustrating on the ground, but when I try to strike with my gold grappler with 65 speed and power it feels just as useless.Comment

Re: The ground game is broken, please fix it
Honestly Mount is easier to get out of than side control.
The side control side saddle combo is way more deadly they just hold you in at the whole time and you only have two ways to go so it's very easy to deny everything.
They wipe out all of your stanima either go for a submissions or you just get hit in the face.
They need to fix the side control side saddle and that people can just Spam clinch and have no repercussions and they'll just keep doing it.
Regular takedowns are easy to stop but then if they have GSP they can just grab your leg after you missed a takedown put you inside control instantly and there's no way you're getting out because there's only two ways to go it's awfully balanced literally every ranked match guy spams clinch gets takedown go to side saddle doesn't even try to get mount.
There's really no point to use Strikers you have to use grapple Fighters with excellent grapple. You confuse a fighter with mediocre striking and still beat people on the feet
if anybody has any tips or videos to help you get out of side control and side saddle when people just hold you there would be really helpful. Thanks.Comment

So true it's actually gotten worse. I mean the first one was really bad but this one's getting pretty close.Comment

Re: The ground game is broken, please fix it
I think we should be more alarmed by the fact that there are two entirely different camps arguing about the same thing in the same game.
Half of us seem to think the grappling is broken, unresponsive, laggy, and frustrating. Takedowns are hard to land, transitions are constantly blocked.
Half of us seem to think the grappling is overpowered, unstoppable, impossible to deny. Takedowns are hard to deny, denials are never registered.
What's worse, is that some of what I'm seeing (myself included) is people saying their having BOTH of these experiences! How can the system be so inconsistent that at times it feels unresponsive and laggy then the next fight can feel overpowered?Comment
