The game obviously has it problems. With that being said, It’s definitely some of the most fun I’ve had in any MMA game.

Here are my current issues whether It’s a balance issue or control/input issue.

1.) UT is a complete mess in general even though I am playing it regularly lol. The RNG nature of it is crazy but it does get more ‘fun’ as you collect better cards and more gold fighters.

2.) This stems back to my first issue but the balancing in UT is strange. You have ‘strikers’, ‘grapplers’ and specialists. It’s basically a game of rock, paper scissors at this point. If a decent grappler gets you down on the mat, good luck trying to get back up. If you possess decent striking skills as a grappler, you stand a chance at winning the stand up. In other words, the gap in striking skill and grappling skill is pretty high in this game.

3.) There is definitely an input lag or input loss issue when trying to clinch or go for takedowns. No question.

4.) The head damage to body damage ratio needs to change or we need to ability to actually finish fights properly. I shouldn’t be able to knock someone down 7 times and have them still gunning for my body in the 5th round.

5.) Add a ****ing block to side control, I didn’t know most fighters defending from side control just love getting molested by elbows with their arms flailing.

I have faith that EA will correct a lot of these issues among others given what we’ve seen in the previous UFC games.
