What we learned from UFC 221

I think we should look at all these UFC events as an example of real life aspects we'd like to see in EA UFC. I didn't get to see a lot of the event, I was here and there. But...

    Volkanovski v Kennedy

I hope people noticed how long and how many strikes and the multiple positions that fight went through before the fight was called from GnP. It wasn't 6 or so head strikes from GnP, but I'm seeing 56 head strikes were landed from the ground alone before it was all done.

People really need to ask themselves, do you actually want SIM GnP, or are you actually just wanting gamer friendly GnP finishes?

    Yoel
Obviously we need the "I love you!" with him kissing his opponent celebration added...

Yeah, I miss whoooOooole lot....please add on since I missed most of it...

Tired of bringing this game up but EA needs to follow the Ud3 blueprint. Ud3 u could strike from different positions on the ground and the opponent would break down and just the grappling overall worked. Going to wait for UFC 4 and see if they do this.

Blocking from various positions and knees are another huge omission. Positions against the cage are a big deal for the ground game too.

LOL Curtis Blaydes is saying he's pissed his not in the game right now too during the presser.

Romero clinch parried (catch punch) like UD3 few times.

Yeah never understood why we can't block from different positions when it was literally in UFC 2009 I believe. There's no attention to detail ,not much depth and a bunch of other **** missing that shouldn't be missing. I'm going to wait for the update or UFC 4 tbh. UFC 3 is good but to many things killed this game for me. I don't understand how UD3 (an old game) got alot more things right then EA UFC 3 (ea who is a bigger industry from thq I believe). Hate raging about this but god how can I not.

We should be able to block and move our head at the same time based on UFC 221, therefore irl.

Tonight's show really made me want better looking grappling in the game.

they better lower lukes chin and heart rating even lower.

Dudes recovery skills are bad and would balance him out

Thigh punch is a legit setup strike

Yoel won besides the fact he broke his leg early in the fight. (Well, he says it's a fact)

Things I learnt, even Curtis Blaydes wonders why he isn't in UFC 3...

ANND that shot Romero finished Rockhold with was presumably like being shot in the face, holy spaghetti that was bruuutal, I loved it.

Also his little speech and kiss to a pouting Rockhold was brilliant. I laughed my *** **** *** off, Romero doesn't give a f************k.
