Patches.... Oh boy do I remember the first patch of EA UFC 1, how many patches has there been since patch 1? 1 patch? 2 patches? 3 patches? So many patches I just don't know. Man, I wish in EA UFC 2 they would have removed the combo multiplier in the final patch, that wasn't included in that patch, but that would have the patch of all the greatest patches, that have ever been patched. That last patch for EA UFC 3 was a good patch, but I still wish that patch completely nerfed the bobblehead counters.
But this upcoming patch.... Man i'm excited for this patch. Forgot what I said about EA UFC 2's patch that would have been the greatest patch to have ever been patched. This upcoming patch WILL be the greatest patch to have ever been patched. I hope they patch in Martials combo idea, I hope they patch in Curtis Blaydes, I hope this patch will nerf the bobblehead counters, I hope this patch fixes the PS4 fakes, hell I even hope the takedown animations get patched, Oh how could I forget? I also really hope they patch in new lunging animations.
I also hope they patch in some career mode things, so I could start a new career run with my HW contender, his name is Patch Patcherson, he even has "PATCH" in all caps tattooed across his chest. Before he started fighting he used to be a full time patcher at a air balloon factory, ha, don't ride in those balloons. Anyway guys I am really excited for this patch. Are you guys excited for this patch? Heck, even my grandma is excited for this patch, and i'm sure GPD is also really excited for this patch. MysticPatch out.

I don't understand . Got into UFC 2 mid last year .

What I dont understand is why isnt the patch out yet? GPD has finished the blog post a couple days ago I think. Gamechanger know all kinds of stuff like new fighters and this and that... obviously they are not allowed to talk about it... meh! Like its a freaking state secret 4 eyes only... whatever.
So does it need more fine tuning or what? If not Box it in and ship it out folks its time.Comment

I'm with you to some degree......I consider myself fairly patient but I can't for the life of me figure out why we cant know what's in an upcoming patch until a day or 2 before it comes out. I mean,its not really THAT big a deal to me; I work crazy hours during the week and even if I do get to game I have other games, it's just always weird how they do these UFC games.
They never release any info,screenshots, gameplay videos etc until about 6-8 weeks before the game comes out everything's so secretive,like they're developing a new type of nuclear weapon whereas games like COD or God of War,they give us some form of info and footage like half a year or even longer before they release a new game. Seems to just be an EA/UFC thing for some reason.
I don't wanna sound unappreciative,I am very thankful for an awesome dev team that reaches out to their fans and tries their best to make us happy even though this is probably the hardest fan base to make happy. They don't HAVE to make any changes for us,they don't HAVE to add fighters,not only do they add fighters they don't make us pay for them which is a rarity these days amongst all the companies with the microtransitions.

I’ve known the new fighters and some of the features for weeks now and that was well befor the patch was finished. The reason patches take so long is because after they are done working on the features and testing, they still have to send it to sony and ms for certification. Certification can take a while so that is why they can’t just release it.
Also for a patch like this you also want marketing to be lined up with the patch release so that the blogs, videos and other publicity can be released at the same time.
The reason they don’t talk about the features or fighters until after certification is because the patch could fail cert. For example, let’s say they were adding 400 new animations in a patch. Let’s say GPD announces that before cert. Lets say someone buys the game because of what gpd announced.
Now let’s say those animations cause it to fail Sony certification for some reason and they have to pull the patch and remove those animations. People who bought the game in anticipation of those new animations that were announced would be pissed.
