Re: UFC 4 Wishlist!!!
TBH I think that whole "being Dana White Universe Mode" might be actually a little bit overwhelming especially if you are thinking about playing every fight. And roster is just too thin, it might quickly get repetitive.
But idea of being a head coach owning your own gym sounds brilliant IMO!
Being able to create your coach and see him later in your fighters' corner, choosing what is his style (for example BJJ practicioner gives you some boosts to grappling, former bussinesman gives you more money etc.), then hiring your staff, negotiating with fighters. Maaaan, in my head it sounds sooo great.
But we definitely need some more organizations, shows, WFA, TUF, DWTNCS, maybe even Strikeforce or WEC?Comment

Re: UFC 4 Wishlist!!!
UFC 2 was released 1 year and 9 months after the first one, UFC 3, 1 year and 11 months after the second iteration. So im guessing either it's released January 2020, or there is a great chance of it being released late this year 2019 in December or November (hopefully).Comment

Re: UFC 4 Wishlist!!!
Here’s what I would like to see, in addition of course to gameplay improvements that others have highlighted.
1. Much more focus on the roster. Last game left many disappointed with a very out of date roster missing many fighters. Make the roster huge, it would even be a good selling point to casual players.
2. Why do we need this huge roster? Because of a universe mode of course! Let us book cards, manage contracts with fighters, fill spots for injuries. Let us be the UFC brass!Comment

His default would be whatever his current one is.
Each stance would buff and debuff certain things and affect frame timing for certain attacks and defenses.
Another one
R1 + Dpad Up = Goofy hands
You could even tie different footwork styles to animations. So hands down as Anderson would mean your walk back animation is different than usual, tailored more towards a fast cross or jab counter and much more leaning, whereas hands up would cover less distance but easier blocking etc.
But yes, by adding the stance changes they could allow all the fighters to have many more moves, by at least a factor of 4. That would be cool and could even open up more options on the ground or in the clinch.Comment

Re: UFC 4 Wishlist!!!
Greatly increase the damage for a clean strike.
Most strikes even those un blocked are typically glancing due to natural body reaction of trying to evade a strike even if your hands are down.
If EA could make the game reflect this more. Most strikes glancing and clean shots always have the potential to finish a fight I think gameplay would become much more tactical and deliberate as people would actually have a fear of getting caught early. Taking 5 clean head kicks like you can currently is simply ubsurd and I really hope they address this.
TL;DR: clean strikes do serious damage. Think original rainbow six punishment style. Consequently more strikes would glance as in real life.Comment

I was just reminded of a feature that I had forgotten about in SFV after not playing it for a long time. Previously, I had created a "dojo" called DimMakLLC, which allows me the option to recruit other online players to my group. It now displays the name of my dojo affiliation underneath my health meter when I fight online. I think it's a really cool feature and it made me imagine how great fight camps could be in UFC 4.
I'm now going to piggyback that onto Haz's mention of Absolver. In Absolver, you are able to train under other players online and earn various things while being a part of their school. Most importantly, you can learn different moves to use for your character. I haven't bothered with Ultimate Team very much, but I can already see the possibilities for tying fight camps into it.
When creating a camp, you could be presented with various disciplines to specialize in. That choice would dictate which moves and perks that members could earn for joining, much like in career mode. You could also customize your gym and invite members to spar, do drills, or practice under different scenarios. There's a lot of potential for something like that.

The second thing I'm bringing up is something that I've touched on before, and that's my issue with excessive knockdowns and rocks. I saw Aholbert mention not being good at "guard breaking" being a lot of the reason for that. That brings me to my next suggestion.
We desperately need some sort of "stalk" mechanic. And to be clear, I don't want a finish the fight animation that automatically kicks in as it has in the past. I've never liked run being tied to double tapping forward on the stick, but I don't really use it anyway, so it's whatever. So how about keeping that the same and make clicking in L3 give you the stalking mechanic? I just need something somewhere between normal walking and a full-on sprint.
Now to circle back to what Aholbert was saying. I understand how much guard breaking plays a role in UFC3, whether I agree with it or not. However, after dropping an opponent, they are often still moving backward so quickly that it's hard to capitalize on the situation. Stumbling, no energy, weaving back and forth, it doesn't matter. I'm not sprinting across the cage, but it would be nice to move faster than my opponent is moving backward when that happens. I have no doubt that I'd end many fights much earlier if I had that option.Last edited by Pappy Knuckles; 02-16-2019, 06:00 PM.Comment

Re: UFC 4 Wishlist!!!
1. Universe mode: I think it's possible.
2. Larger roster: Possible
3. More legends: Possible
4. CAF share: Definetly not possible.
5. Larger CAF space: should be possible.
If all 5 of these features become a thing then I'll be set. Would pay 100 dollars for this game.

I'm gonna need you to go stand somewhere else. Nothing personal. Except why do you hate me and all I stand for?
