Record reset coming, my record is trash, I'm just grinding quick coins for Birthday packs and that's all. I don't condone my abuse of the system at all though. I'm being a scumbag and I'm not at all proud of it.
With all the negativity, is there anyone who likes the new patch?

Re: With all the negativity, is there anyone who likes the new patch?
The game is much better after the patch, needs a few adjustments with the stamina, but the re working in the right direction !!
This is how i play to deal versus a very agressive player:
- Tight camera; head movement works much better now, so you can ENJOY this game like in Fight Night Champion with this camera. It's by larg the best camera in my opinion. Beleave me; once you get the hang, you can,t play with other camera.
- Pick your shots. You need to pay much attention in every single strike. For example,, when i see my opponent began the combo with a jab stright, I block the first 2 strikes before a side step to the right (orthodox), and upper-straight or straight lead hook to the body. However anothe great option versus this combo is lean straight (straight and lead hook to do much more damage) and double flick straight.
- Work the body. My favorite ways to work the body is jab straight to the body (this combo needs a nerf), left upper head riht upper body (the most dangerous and speedly upper to the body), 2 or 3 flicks (minor sway to avoid the 3 first strikes) and lead body hook. Minor sways works very well to drain opponent stamina and counters, in the other side major sways are very good to defensive, but extremely ineffective for counters).
- L1 back learn and immediately a straight, many KO's with this counter !! Keep in mind you need to stop walking before. I usually walk slowly back out and immediately stop and L1 and back at the same time.
- Be patient, now the game is much more dangerous that before, so you need to play with a slower rate. Is like a battle between damage (usually agressive fighters go to the head) and stamina, is because i say you need to be patient..you need to win the stamina battle before go for the damage
Excuse my english !Comment

Re: With all the negativity, is there anyone who likes the new patch?
Patch was really hard at the beginning & it took about 50 fights for me to get used to it. Head movement is more realistic, buff for rear elbow & lead side kick was really nice. Stand Up is very close being 10/10. There is still some issues but they should be easy to fix.Last edited by Dankoz; 04-30-2018, 02:10 AM.Comment

Re: With all the negativity, is there anyone who likes the new patch?
The Dev confirmed that there is a major bug in this patch regarding health. So in all seriousness, we’re playing a broken game. I would advise to take a break until it is fixed because otherwise, your just racking up wins/losses that aren’t legit.Comment

Closest we've been to it being right in my opinion so I'm enjoying it as much as I possibly can while it last before we go back to "Block Breaker 3."
Funny how many of the "competitive" players (many who abused the combo multiplier last game) are the one's pounding their fists for a change.Antonio Rodrigo "Minotauro" Nogueira - UFC Hall of FameComment

Also, not to be a d@&k and go Nostredamus,
It's like we're just gonna keep tuning the engine forever, the car's on cinder blocks, but the engine is not optimal!Last edited by MacGowan; 04-30-2018, 04:21 AM.Comment

Rack Attack's right. "No one's" making it outta first round, and there's a major health bug.
Also, not to be a d@&k and go Nostredamus,
You think they're finally working on grappling now? they're not. they're trying to fix this damn bug. If they can't fix it through the tuner, then they'll have to do an emergency patch.

1-There's a confirmed health regen bug with this new bug.
2-More people online are complaining that they get KO'd faster
3-Find_the_Door, and Zombie Rommel appear to enjoy this new health regen bug.Comment

Re: With all the negativity, is there anyone who likes the new patch?
Don’t misunderstand what I’m saying, I actually really like the new patch when it comes to the new sway and combo system. But the health regen bug is not making the game competitive. If you get K.O.’d after one knockdown, then what is the point of the Heart and Toughness stats??? It makes no sense that the argument is “you can’t play reckless anymore, you have to be patient and pick your shots” yeah no duh, that’s how it’s supposed to be but with room to make improvements when you get knocked down or rocked. Not “oh I just got rocked I lost”. Take out those attributes then, if toughness and heart doesn’t matter. 🤣🤣Comment

Everyone who is praising the patch like find the door are just super stoked at how simple it is to “win” now.

Prior to patch winning was random sway fest dice rolls.
Now it’s about actually landing clean shots on your opponent to rock/drop them (kinda like a real fight)Comment

I would say 40% positive, 60% negative. As I said, I like the patch but the health regen needs to be addressed ASAP.Comment
