Struve, over the last 5 years, same number of fights had 3 KO/TKO losses.
Do they rate his chin higher? I bet they do.

His best fights were two former champions, Tim Sylvia and Randy Couture. Sylvia defended the Heavyweight championship twice which was tied for the most defenses of the Heavyweight belt until very recently with Miocic.

From his debut in the UFC in 07’ through 2012 he had 5 wins and 3 losses in 8 fights. One of which to Cain btw, so hardly a “Losing record”. It wasn’t until after this point that Father Time caught up to him.

The point being, there is a strong case to be made for buffing many of his stats based on a 5 year stretch of his UFC record alone.

He wasn’t good against Silvya even find the door can say that... Silvya was never a good fighter he was champion in a time when UFC HW was really poor, If it was the pride nog Silvya would get he a#* whooped in the start to finish... but what we saw was other fight that nog survived a beating to submit the opponent ...
But against couture was easily his best fight in UFC.. I remembered the prime nog, he’s was fast in that fight

Nogueira is the only man to ever sweep Werdum

Props to him I don’t want to take his merits, I’m a nog fan and I used to train jiu jitsu in his academy.
But I jwas just saying that werdum was just beaten up when the fight came to ground and you know what 2 knockdowns do to a person... but all the merits are for nogueira

Heavyweight wasn’t deep back then but you still had Andrew Arlovski that he beat twice (who was good all the way up to 2015) Jeff Monson, a world class grappler, Rico Rodriguez, Wes Correira.

I just wish they would rate Nog based off of his run from his UFC debut in 07’ all the way through 2012. 5 wins in 8 fights, one of those losses coming to Velasquez which there is no shame in at all.

I'd argue that his current stats are close to what they would be if we based it off that. ****, if we did that FTD would have less of a leg to stand on when it comes to his chin since he got KO'd twice during that run.

Also, why do these threads always turn into a discussion about Nog's stats?

What's crazy is that he was coming off of a devasting knock out loss at release and it still hasn't been touched. That's to add to his laundry list of ko losses.

One could easily make the case that Overeem should very well have the worst chin in the entire game.

Overeem is the best example of lack of footwork in this game... His defense is ALL based in it and he does an amazing job using it do defend his glass chin... but as the game doesn’t have a proper footwork they buff his chin smh
