Thanks very much for this. I have a few questions though, the first being lead hook damage.

Is it possible to do a video on how vulnerable ability actually works, as from gameplay experience there is a few differences from reality that don't work well. The came has the pull counter, but the check hook seems to be lacking power or vulnerability bonuses, especially versus a rear uppercut if both are orthodox.

            You're welcome.

Maybe I can do a video on it, later. I'd have to check if official videos didn't already cover the topic thoroughly, though.

A lead hook would enjoy peak vuln against a rear uppercut, during the recovery of the upper. If you want to peak during their execution, you'll need a rear hook. Orthodox vs Orthodox.

Ah i see, the check hook is the natural counter as the right side of the chin is exposed, not the left if you get me. Thats a slight issue there in terms of logic there. What about the slip left hook verus a straight from orthodx versus orthodox or versus a jab in southpaw?.

Again, it depends on whether it's on recovery or execution. Vs the straight it would be better on recovery. Vs the jab, on execution.

I would argue that this isn't a logic issue. When coming up with these rules we try to go with what happens more frequently in real fights. During execution, dudes seem to get KOed more, when hit on the opposite side of the arm they're using to punch. Condit vs Hardy is a famous example.

Thats left hook versus left hook both in an open orthodox stance, haye vs bellew 2 and cody vs tj are also examples of this. An example of the logic being slightly off is with the jab southpaw versuses orthodox, michael bisping dropped both rockhold and sliva with left hooks in the recorvery phase not execution, same with weidman vs silva. Its about where the chin is most exposed not opposite side.

For the check hook alone it seems the vulnerability strikes are opposite from that of reality.

It is possible to drop people without the vuln peak.

Except agaisnt the lead hook, which is fine?

Yeah i have no other problems with the system, just a few kinks, spinning back fist is also odd.

Discussing these kinks are agood thing. It is possible that folks would reach an agreement and be able to implement it in the game. In a way, the level of detail we have now on vulnerability could have once been considered kinks.

I could possibly do a few tests myself and show you whay i mean if that helps showing the slight kinks, am sure everyone notices something different

I'd be glad to examine your lab results.
