It allows you to know when a strike is coming by a vibration. It even vibrates different for head shots compared to body or leg shots. Basically you can magically block everything because you know what’s coming. Most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard of for a ranked experience.

I was wondering how he was able to time things so well. I tried to simulate what he did and I would always get hit. Makes sense now.


Honestly, I might get flack for this, but if it's legal right now I don't see why all ranked players don't try to use it. I understand the purpose was out of good intention, but if it's a feature that gives you a great advantage like that then it falls into the category of weight cutting in the UFC, where out of good intentions it becomes a thing to abuse. Of course, when it's removed you definitely will be exposed if you end up relying on it so much, so that might be the problem.

Out of principle, im on the fence in trying it. There are a lot of things that I think are like having telekentic super powers, for example being able to see the grapple hud indicator on where a strike is coming so that you can strike cancel (which a lot of people rely on).

It's meant for disabled people. I'm not disabled. Therefore I'm not using it, nor am I going to stoop that low, I worked on my timing and I'm much more proud of being able to have my "great finishing ability" and patience due to practice rather than some cheap mechanic.

Its so weird how different matchups play. I'm pretty even most of the time with flacco and he generally wins by holding me down on the ground most of the time.

With you it's more of a matter of your weird great finishing ability. I can drop u 4 times and then get rocked once and you know exactly what to throw to KO me. I always have to remember to "just block" against you and not sway.

Yes swaying at all against RomeroXVII is a death sentencein my experience.

This is a problem in its self. You’re a division 4 player playing against a division 5 player with an unfair advantage because you can see his hud and he can’t see yours. This needs to stop next patch. No need to give a less skilled opponent (way less skilled opponent in this case as he is .500 at divison 4) an advantage to overcome the skill difference. He’s in that divison because he’s less skilled. If he wants to come to the big boys then all should be equal.

....I'm in Division 6, with about 2016 points or whatever.


And if you're referring to CounterPunch, he's definitely referring to our quick matches, which are done for either teaching or fun. Yes he's in Division 4, no I have never run across him in ranked. He's a good friend of mine.

Although I'm all for the removal of being able to see the opponents HUD period. Maybe Division 3 guys can stay there, but hitting Division 4 and then on should be just how it is for Div 5, 6, 7 etc.

My reason however, is due to alternate accounts from certain players. Imagine, you have a rival or somebody that is the bane of your existence in the game and he is now on an alternate account in Div 4, being able to see the HUD and you have no clue. (or realize who it is until it's too late)

On top of them being able to see your HUD, if you don't win, due to them being in that division you're bound to lose 20+ points than if you fought them on the account that you're most accustomed to seeing it on.

Not to say that's the reason people made alternates, many players had to make Alternates due to the threat of Ddosers, myself included, but once they were dealt with I never stepped on my Alt again.




TL;DR All for the removal of being able to see your opponents HUD Period.



On another note, if somebody's stamina is low, can it reduce the amount of damage they do to your block? Or is block damage the same with a jab at full stamina as it is with low stamina? I would like that to be taken into consideration if it isn't already.

Looking forward to sprawl now! Loved holding people there until they transitioned up and I'd hit the guillotine reversal.

Noticed someone suggesting body punches in sprawl only take 6-7 hits to hurt the body - that's only if there's a significant stamina advantage. Absolutely nothing wrong with the punches from sprawl.

I think this tuner made a great, positive difference. But I think the adjustments have also really shined a light on how bizarre the vulnerability system can be as well. There's just some wild rocks.
