Re: Patch spoilers discussion
You're kidding me? That's like my perfect fighter lineup.
Zabit, Branch and Tuivasa are like, perfect.
Literally perfect. Thanks devs.
Though I have to say I am disappointed we still have not got Dan Hooker at LW.
I know I can just use combined weight classes now (and I will) but I don't feel that completely excuses it.
He has been at LW since before launch, 4-0, is now ranked in that weight class, ect ect.Comment

Re: Patch spoilers discussion
As a person whole only plays offline, I'm loving the patch. Fights feel more dynamic which is something the this series has always been missing. The cage FTF animations I feel, are even better than the "normal" FTF animations. When a fighters not completely out you can tell visually rather them suddenly springing to life after eating 2-3 clean punches.
Active knockdowns have improved to what I thought they should've been at launch. There's tons of stuff to lab now, with the new lunges, and the reaching straights to the head and body. Plus, we got some new signatures moves.
What I'm really hyped for is career mode with sliders, something I've been wanting in the game since launch and it's finally here. I'm legit impressed by how much the dev team can add and improve on post launch and it's for free too (which is huge coming from someone who plays a ton of Destiny, where big updates and improvements often come with a price tag).
Lastly, something small but important imo is that since the patch I haven't felt like I've been watching a fight, I feel like I'm in one. The AI improvements and something like single collar rocks have made for a much more deadly fight, where things can end from a myriad of positions and that's something I've wanted from this series for a long time. Hopefully, if there's a ufc 4, the devs rework the ground game like they did the standup for ufc 3 and they keep the "danger everywhere" philosophy going.Last edited by Seymorslash; 08-23-2018, 01:28 PM.Comment

Re: Patch spoilers discussion
Yup. The improved responsiveness, the ability to create angles, make the opponent miss big, the reaching strikes, ect. My hats off to you sir...this is a big step in the right direction for the striking.Comment
