Re: Patch spoilers discussion
Stand up is almost perfect! This has become one of the deepest fighting games ever, IMO.
But yeah, let’s improve the knockout physics and turn our attention to UFC 4

Tweaks for the New Patch
First of all, great job on the patch Devs. Changes to footwork, AI, and the new Finish the Fight options all add a lot to the game. Thank you.
So I just played like 3 full Tournaments against the AI with the new patch and I noticed a few things I believe need to be tweaked a little.
- The added ability to block while lunging as some odd problems. Most notably, If I am blocking and minor lunge backwards, if my opponent throws a straight or uppercut, they almost ALWAYS hit my block and drain it. I'm not even exaggerating here, its damn near half the octagon away and it'll still hit the block. I am assuming this is a bug.
-The new lunging straights are awesome, but I really think their usable range needs small tweaks. Right now its very strict on the range you can use them, which more often than not makes them feel like the input is just not taking. In reality the opponent usually just gets too close mid-input and it makes the move not execute. I think these new lunging straights need to be able to fire off at slightly closer range than they are now. Nothing crazy, but enough to compensate for opponents moving towards you mid-input, and to allow the move to be used in a few select offensive situations rather than pure defensive. Example is having your opponent against the cage, and using these lunging strikes to box at the very end of your range. As it stands now, its very hard to use in this way due to the strict range limit.
-Cage Finish the Fight animation seems to mess up sometimes and the punches don't really land on the opponent. It looks like the attacker pulls his punches before they land on the caged fighter sometimes.
Those are the suggestions I have for new things added in this patch. Now for some bonus request for the next patch:
-Make Yoel Romero look like the freak of nature he is
-More physics in both KOs and Finish the Fight sequences to make them more dynamic and unique (including Ground and Pound KOs)
-Longer replays for KOs so we can see how it all plays out, right now the fighter sometimes does not even finish landing before the replay ends
-Give more fighters Wanderlei Silva type hooks (but less from the hip, so basically a mix of generic hook and Wanderlei hooks) (btw those Wanderlei hooks look amazing)
Once again great work on this patch honestly. Looking back on release, it is pretty amazing where we are at right now. Thanks for the post-launch dedication.Comment

Re: Patch Review
I actually think Zabit could be better. We need the 99 switch stat and we are all good. Not 94 Holbert 99. Go watch his fights out of ufc man.Comment

Re: Patch Review
I watched all 3 multiple times. I'm not giving him a 99. He switches alot but he doesnt strike a ton from there. Lets calm down with the hype a little.Comment

Re: Patch spoilers discussion
I REALLY like the lunge fixes
Just walking forward winging hooks doesnt cut it.
I do wish that lunges 1-2 wasnt available to everyone tho. Should be guys with a certain footwork threshold.
Still gotta test the AI at some pointComment

Only person saying it, but not the only person that thinks it.
