Man papadoc thank you so much for this, honestly. It's motivating to see someone really dominate with submissions and grappling. Watching your fights is just a joy.

Question: Is there anyone other than Jacarae that is as dangerous when it comes to submissions?

If you play HW Oleynik is great (my fav fighter in game) if you need more striking, then do werdum. At MW, branch is a good option too.

True, both Nate and Cowboy both have the 2 gate switch sub triangle from their guard. Makes people think twice about trying to pass from full guard

I enjoy using Leonardo santos, good reach, 90td offense, undeniable double leg, lvl 4and 5 bjj, lvl 3 arm triangle half guard

Nice man, and yes you are def. right, ground & pound and subs are finally viable!!!

I'm kind of worried about UFC 4. On one hand, I think the ground game As-Is has it its peak. It's a simplistic system that doesn't have much room for advancement.

So on one hand I'd love them to completely revamp the ground (and def. the clinch) in UFC 4.

But....it's finally pretty balanced and in a good spot...I'm kind of scared of them touching it at this point haha

I need to get on these 1 ms monitors you ppl are talking about.....lol.....setup my TV to minimize lag as much as possible but every ms counts may need to invest in a new monitor for UFC 4

Honestly I think the sky is the limit for the current ground system

We could potentially get minor transitions which could open up at least 4 more transitions per position. There are still extra positions that could be added as well. Then you gotta consider momentum transitions that can be added, a transition based sub system and possibly a change to the the way stamina works on the ground.

That’s why I hate the idea of them rehauling it. The foundation is solid we just need to have more built on top.

OK OK I can get on board with sticking with the current ground system as a Base and adding more features & nuances to it ---- more positions, transitions, fakes, momentum physics, maybe even hand fighting

Clinch though....

Hopefully a total overhaul of Clinch which would include "Scramble Mechanics" which would serve as the in-between spot for Standing, Clinch, & Ground.

So many takedowns/knockouts/submissions begin with a Scramble in MMA....really hope we see that in UFC 4 !!!!
