Re: Patch 1.13
Question - how does defending the driving TD work? GPD mentioned that you can "stop" defending at any time to preserve stamina. How do you do defend "continuously" in order to then stop defending? I haven't been in that position yet. Thanks!Comment

Re: Patch 1.13
Just keep holding it through the entire driving takedown.Comment

Re: Patch 1.13
If you deny with poor timing but keep holding denial all the way to the cage, your stamina will be drained more than the attacker, and you'll have a harder time defending the takedown once you get to the cage.Comment

Re: Patch 1.13
If you don't get the sprawl but input the denial with good timing, keep holding denial and your opponent's stamina will drain faster than yours as you are driven to the cage. By the time you get there you'll be in a better position to defend or submit them.

1.perfect timing = sprawl
2.good timing + hold denial = their stamina drains faster and I have the advantage at the cage
3.bad timing + hold denial = my stamina drains faster than than theirs and they have the advantage at the cage

Re: Patch 1.13
The sprawl is more complex than that.
The sprawl happens if you are holding TD defense during the driving takedown while more than 6 feet away from the fence, and your opponent's stamina drops below a certain threshold (don't don't remember the exact number).
#2 and #3 all play into how the stamina drains.
If someone shoots it on you with zero stamina from the center of the octagon, it doesn't matter how bad your timing is, you'll sprawl on them.Comment

Re: Patch 1.13
Sorry if this is a bit harsh, but I've hated almost every takedown animation you guys have put in the game since EA UFC 1. They've always been way too slow and unrealistic.
These on the other hand look amazing! Love that spear takedown. Please tell me the A.I goes for a lot of these. The driving one looks awesome as well. More takedowns and animations like this please.Comment

Re: Patch 1.13
Cro Cop now has both lead and rear axe kicks and elbows, which are suggestions I made a good while back in that ongoing move thread. You guys might want to check fighters if you made any suggestions there.ZombieRommel on YouTube - UFC3 coverage has begun!Comment

Re: Patch 1.13
Im at a loss for words.
Andre Bishop.
Isaac Frost.
Dana White.
Bruce Buffer.
What is with these DLC fighters this year? Meanwhile the game was released with an already out of date roster, but they just keep giving us random characters instead of filling out the roster with actual fighers.
At the very least I hope this means we have a new Fight Night coming. I've been playing FNC this last few weeks again and it's so fun. Went through Champion Mode, now I'm deep into a Legacy Mode run. Boxing has a bunch of stand outs again and is the most relevant, and exciting it's been in years. A new, next gen FN would be awesome.

I'm at work so I can't check..
Can anyone look to see if Michael Johnson is at 145?
Also can you check Uriah Hall, and Yair Rodriguez moveset? Did they look into those Fighter Authenticity threads at all?Comment
