He's had the rear axe kick and elbows for several tuner updates now, lead axe might be a new and welcome addition though.

The real question is did they finally remove the ? Kick that makes his AI Bork.

OK, thanks! I've had HW disabled for a while so I didn't notice, but that's really cool. I got a lead elbow rock earlier with him. Yeah he def has both axe kicks now. I think he doesn't have the hook kick anymore, though (I'm pretty sure he used to have it). Which sucks but I can't complain much.

On a related noted, I'm glad to see this round of "Icon" updates much, MUCH more grounded in reality.

I was expecting Forrest to be silly OP but instead he's just accurate. So good work there.

Chael at LHW might need another look though. 97 TD in 2013? Jon Jones would like a word.

However the fact that the FNC characters have received more visual work than Cro Cop or various other poorly represented fighters bugs the hell out of me.

Both FNC fighters have had physique updates and art changes done in various areas from how they appeared in FNC, such as moving their tattoos onto UFC 3 physiques.

Why waste time on that when there are HEAPS of missing fighters and existing fighters that badly need physique updates (Mirkos Legs. Yoel, Tim Means, Zabits head)

Icons are cool and I don't mean to sound ungrateful but I really don't think we should accept or support fictional boxers being added over upcoming MMA talent, personally.

Still a damn tasty patch none the less. As usual, great work from the devs.

Jacked Yoel model is on my Christmas list. They did a good job fixing Ngannou.

Well then you better get to kicking. I'm not going out there with Gunnar Nelson trying to out box nick diaz. Unless you're using the absolute best boxer in the division, use other tools. Thai knees teeps and leg kicks will be your best friends against those guys

I’m not kicking against those guys only to get blasted by a jab straight. The guys should not be in the game. Especially when we have actual ranked fighters like Suarez, Santos, Anthony Smith and also guys still not in their proper weight classes like barao, melendez, etc

This is why I want a 0-100 universal rating system.

That way 85 power is 85 power in every weight class. So like middleweight and light heavies might have an 85 power but a flyweight probably would never have more than 45 or 50.

Same thing for a chin rating. A flyweight might only have a 45-50 chin and could never take the 85 power of a higher weight fighter, just like Mighty Mouse would get wrecked by a Robert Whittaker punch in real life.

Then you could move fighters across weight classes in mixed and I think it would more accurate.

Severn is dumb overrated as far as grappling goes

Severn was arguably the best grappler of his time and since this is a prime version (not comparing him to the fighters today), these are the stats he gets.

I’m completely against these prime versions on the first place but a lot of you asked for them so here we are.

Then it sounds like you need to learn how to effectively kick. They're most likely a promotional tool for a new fight night or a remastered FNC. Either way it's not that big of a deal, the models were already created so they didnt take much time, I know there are additions people would rather have but for a sports title we should be glad we're getting additions at all. Especially 9 mos after launch

Also, did they recently add the ability to chain major side lunges or is this just something the community is abusing? I’m fighting guys who look like they are performing the electric slide on bath salts with how fast they are side stepping. It looks awful

If it attracts some of the fight night players to UFC I'm all for it. We need more players in this game . More people to buy this game .

If it means putting christiano Ronaldo in it ...by all means put him in it . As far as it attracts more publicity to this game because more sales means more funds for the devs to do more .

I just got a chance to play with Chael Sonnen after getting off work. It feels so great to have The American Gangster back.

Also, the grappling makes me want Ben Askren more than ever.

But please, please in the next patch can we at least get one of the three:

Thiago Santos just became relevant earlier this year. Lando Vannata isn't a UFC fighter. Justin Willis beat his first opponent of note DAYS AGO. Ben Askren hasn't fought in the UFC yet.

You act like the devs aren't even trying. They could give you each and every one of these dudes and you'd be saying the same thing about slightly less relevant fighters.

Santos has been knocking guys out for literally years. I've been asking for him since UFC 1....

Not to mention these are just quick off the dome. I can go so much deeper on fighters that deserve to be in the game.

How about David Teymer, Drakkar Close, Justin Ledet, Brian Kelleher, etc. I mean there are soooo many..

I'm going to go ahead and put you on ignore here, because your a teenager with a bad attitude, that always starts **** with me. Either on the forums, or back in EFC. You've always had a problem with me.

Giving us Bruce Buffer, Dana White, and 2 fictional boxers from a decade old game is an insult. And I'm not alone in thinking this.


The roster isn't important to you. But it is to me, and many others who play this game. And the objective fact is that this current roster is dramatically out dated.
