100% agree with the 2 gentlemen on top. its also super fishy devs haven't come out and said anything when they always have something to say. i might be wrong but when i first came to this forum i remember devs will shoot little stuff down, like this.

Re: WHEN WILL WE RECIVE ANY NEWS ABOUT EA UFC 4?
its entirely possible that they may want us to act this way towards the game and think this way for there marketing tactic. you know... the classic, let me make you feel a bit vulnerable and down a bit so i can come back and save the day and make it feel just that much better.
^
break that down and really think about it. but you never know... the game might really just be *** lol.Comment

Re: WHEN WILL WE RECIVE ANY NEWS ABOUT EA UFC 4?
You are wrong. GPD would come here and shoot stuff like this down occasionally but the rest of the devs are barely a presence on this forum. Skynet has always been consistent in just sticking to AI stuff. Bassi has done the same with his areas.
GPD is gone so I wouldnt expect any devs to jump in here to discuss a game that hasnt been announced.Comment

Re: WHEN WILL WE RECIVE ANY NEWS ABOUT EA UFC 4?
interesting, i wonder if the new GPD has anything to do with this mess.
i started to know this game was not going to be good around 2 months ago according to my calculation's. what calculation? marketing tactics own research, timing etc etc....
but hey one thing about timing is ufc 249 was cancelled due to the plandemic. maybe it would have been announced before hand the world may never know! ragdoll brought up a very solid point tho. im rambling. just connect the dots!Comment

The new gameplay dev has nothing to do with any of the disagreements the game changers may have with certain aspects of the game.

Just let them trot around with pitchforks. Mostly emotional posts especially during this time.

Just don't get your hopes up, the dissappointment will be less. I got super hyped for the three previous games, which where all major let downs in my eyes. Now I'm just expecting it to be bad, so I can only be positively surprised.Comment

Re: WHEN WILL WE RECIVE ANY NEWS ABOUT EA UFC 4?
**** all you lot, I’m excited and pretty optimistic it’s going to be good! Perfect? I doubt it, but I find it hard to imagine, knowing all of the issues illustrated by these forums, and in general, along with a roadmap of what is in most need of fixing (grappling!) that it will be anything but a big improvement over what we have now.
Everyone is letting their imaginations run wild over here! Granted, a few less than desirable things have happened, but with the way everyone’s talking, it feels like we’re going to be getting UFC PS2 game reading these posts!
EA want a great game, the devs want a great game, the game changers do, and us. Nobody wants a rubbish game, so I’m sure they will be doing everything they can to deliver what we all want. Everyone has a different idea of what is important I know, and some won’t have some of what they were hoping for included/fixed, but I’m pretty hopeful it’s going to be a massive improvement over what we have now. I can’t wait personally, but the wait is taking forever [emoji24]

Re: WHEN WILL WE RECIVE ANY NEWS ABOUT EA UFC 4?
If EA wanted a great game they would put more money into the UFC Franchise. What EA wants is Money. Yearly. They dont want a UD3 that people still play in 10years they want new high numbers yearly.
Once you see the new microtransaction pay to win ultimate team model, you'll agree.
UFC2 UT was slightly pay to win but with a decent fighter you were able to beat a pay to win CAF.
UFC3 UT is pay to win no questions asked.
UFC4 UT will rip the roof off the building in terms of pay to win. Mark my words.Last edited by That Ragdoll Guy; 04-29-2020, 08:00 AM.Comment

I just hope they don't do like 2k and make a game that looks ridiculous like that 2k battlegrounds wwe game. I know there are some people who like games like that but not my cup of tea.Comment

I get that, but I’m sure they want a game that receives good reviews, and sells well, is what I was getting at. Can’t talk on ultimate team really, as I haven’t really ever got involved with that for the reasons you have stated.
Is ultimate team the same in fifa/madden etc also? As in pay to win type setup, or is it particularly bad in UFC?
I’m just hyped for getting a new MMA game tbh. I find it hard to play ufc3 now. Most fights feel really samey. Somehow, for a game incorporating wrestling, kick-boxing, jiujitsu, Muay Thai, boxing, karate, judo etc, most fights feels so one dimensional. Feel like you get a lot more style variety playing fnc!
I’m gona stay optimistic... it has to be better than UFC 3 surely, so I’ll take it!
