Yeah I think we will get a boxing mode too. Idk if it'll come with a boxing ring and the rest but I think a bare bones boxing mode will be in.
It would be cool if it didn't stop there. K1 rules, BJJ, combat BJJ etc.

I would like that they will also implement muay thai, boxing and muay thai my 2 favorite fighting styles

Exactly. EA has the opportunity to bring in casuals from all over with different rule sets. FN fans would love a boxing mode in UFC since there are no other major boxing video games around.

They already did something similar in EA MMA but didn't go far enough.

I dont think they are going for anything that has been done in the past... otherwise we would have better grappling by now. Its 2020 grappling still hangs in 2014.

I see them briging Mayweather in, and Tyson and some other boxing names for a mediocre boxing mode... (De La Hoya too btw ).

Mayweather is now working with the UFC so its more than likely or more likely than pride at least. We already have kickboxing (K1) rules kinda and grappling only.

UFC wants Conor to kickstart Zuffa boxing so I wouldn't be surprised if we see a boxing mode. I don't know about having actual boxers and a ring besides maybe Tyson, but I think a boxing mode has a lot of potential.. especially in an era with no other major boxing titles around.

Do you guys think it will be a good idea if they added hand injurys in ufc4 for example if im using anthony pettis and someone is using tony, and i throw an overhand right and tony ducks his head so anthony pettis fist hits the top of tonys head full force and then now when i throw any right hand punches the power is decreased.and slower but slower by very little. I feel this will also stop most people from being colby covingtons like in ufc 3.and make players be more cautious when throwing. This will make the game so much more relestic.im so bored im just waiting for news.

I am also very eager to hear from the game, and a date for its release, but I would not say that EA has deceived us, since there was at no time anything official by EA, they have not given any date, all have been speculations of us fans, we are crazy to hear

You drive yourself crazy with all these assumptions when its coming or if its coming.

Gamechangers said they have seen the game or know a lot about it.
Jon Anik tweeted he did voiceover for UFC 4.
They invited DC to EA for what? Probably to work on UFC 4 for EA.


There is no release date yet, cause the game isnt finished yet. See that as good or bad, do as you please, but there is gonna be a UFC 4. More development time is good for a game. UFC 3 was a disaster on release and still is a disaster imo.

I do agree that the dead silence about the game is annoying and not really good for the game, but saying EA deceived us is dump. A little more information would be good, but going crazy over it is not helping anyone. Its coming... there just isnt a release date yet.

I think thats a terrible idea. Why are hand injuries realistic? Joe calls out injuries like crazy when commentating... that doesnt mean its true.

Also people keep fighting with injuries. See Barber, Franklin and every other Octagon Warrior, except Anthony Pettis.

It would be something else if a kick breaks a hand... I would love to see a full body damage system... but self inflicted injuries... no thanks.

You dont have to buy the game on release day. If you see the trailer and it shows things like press conferences or faceoffs or some other thing that you guys love...wait until you can confirm that you are getting what you think you are getting.

The beauty of living in 2020 we have all types of access to information. For UFC 4, there will be people who will stream the game for hours the first day the game is released on EA Access. Both consoles now have EA Access so you can rent the game for 5 bucks and play it for 10 hours before you spend 60 to buy it.

If EA makes a ****ty game its 100% on them. If you buy a ****ty game (when you have access to info that will tell you if its ****ty or not)....thats on you.

when joe calls out injuries most of the time its true. you know how some mma fans are trolls or rather ufc fans. if that statement where true about joe we would be calling him joe"injury" rogan never said the fight will end because of a hand injury just said the power would be decreased. also i never said hand injuries themselves are realistic but the lead up to them are. if you don't know what i mean let me give you an example, when a fighter is teeing off on an other fighter they cant just go swing wildly because of a number of thing, one of those things would be trying to not break your hand. some fighters messed up on this for example like when rda injured one of his hands when teeing off on Robbie lawyer with those crazy barrage of punches. look all in all i believe it will stop the spam and i like what you said in the end there that would help too btw, But that being said its all about realism for me i want to feel like im the actual fighter in there. And i really feel this will bring ufc 4 to another level at least for me. and also it would be cumulative so if i keep throwing that over hand right and it landed on the top of my opponents head 5 times or less or more, then my right should decrease in power a little. in no way should the fight be stopped because of that.

I agree that the game is on its way, it will probably not take long to know anything about it, what I meant is that EA has not lied with the dates or anything that has to do with the exit of the game, since officially not He has reported nothing on him.

I also agree with you that if it is taking time to leave it can be good, since it is likely that the game is better than if it comes out in a hurry.

I would say he is 50/50 at best (unless its an obvious injury) and I HAVENT missed an UFC event since 2008. He is the best UFC Commentator but also the most dramatic one. An injured hand is common in MMA and no reason to stop a fight, in game.

Matter of fact the only time a fighter didnt continue on a self inflicted injury was Anthony Pettis vs Ferguson and he only quit cause he knew Tony was going to kill him in round 3. (Dont quote me on that, but I think Pettis is the only one who ever quit on the stool because of a broken hand)

Injuries pre fight in career mode Im totally fine with that... end a fight because of injury or doctor stoppage, Im not a fan of that idea.

although perhaps when I translated it my comment was not good and hence your interpretation that I said that they had lied, when I wanted to say the opposite answering to LarsP.

With regard to injuries, I would like to see a fight end and that the opponent may not be present at the time of the decision due to an injury, and that we can see how he is treated for it, this happened from time to time. when in UFC 3 undisputed which gave him a lot of realism, I do not say that it happens constantly, but that it can happen if the circumstances arise for a possible injury
