Completely reworked takedowns, clinches, submissions, ground game........polished up the stand up.......scrambles........RAGDOLL KOS ARE BACK!!!!!
Ok guys I'm 110% officially excited again!!!!!!!! I can look past the cheesy CAF options , the game improvements are what I begged for and for the most part they sound like they are there! Did they address everything ?? I'm almost positive they didnt but it sure does sound like they improved the areas that needed it the most. Man thank you for your hard work and efforts, Geoff!! Love you bro, no homo

Someone asked him his favorite new mechanic and he said “the carrying stuff.” Does this mean that carry into a slam is not just an animation but an actual mechanic, or does it mean something else?

I don't know if you can answer any questions at this point but i'm just wondering how expanded (actual improvment) is the ground game aside from the things we already know, and i'm talking about content wise? Have they added new animations/positions like butterfly guard, 50/50, back body triangle with mixing of strikes, back crucifix, giftwrap and against the cage with strikes etc? Can you give us any hints, since you played it?

Understood and thanks for the feedback. Can't understand the logic of EA though, just like their marketing approach at EA play. Lifting the NDA and restricting info until people have access to the Beta playing the game by themself, which in reality is a fancier modern term for "demo" since the game is already gold and will be released in a single month?

From the looks of it gameplay wise it'll be better. But it still lacks the game modes.

Yeah Pride mode was groundbreaking, can't deny that. I cant lie, part of me is disappointed that it wont be a thing in UFC4 but I also fully expected it to not be included, figured they would wait til the next iteration since it'll likely run on a completely different engine since we will have the newer consoles by then. To me the gameplay is more important than game modes, but it helps having both

I never realized that ragdoll KOs were even in UFC 3. I just assumed they were absent since I knew there was some degree of discord from the community after UFC 2. Personally i loved them, made each KO unique even if some of then were a "little" over the top. I had(still have) hundreds of KOs from UFC 2 on my hard drive and, although the stand up was much improved in UFC 3, I sure did miss saving tons of beautiful knockouts......only saved maybe 15 or so from UFC 3 because frankly, the KOs just didnt look all that good.
