I'm sick of the talk.

I want to see it. I'm skeptical that OSers will be willing to do it and thats why the target audience of this game isnt the hardcore community.

I would definitely recommend the community to skip this one. I think most people kind of expect the game to be fixed in the next year with a lot of patches, just like the last one.

But with this being the last game on the deal, and Geoff leaving, I think the post launch patches that we have come to expect, might not be of the same magnitude as in UFC 3, if there are any to begin with.

Let's hope another publisher will take over.

Yes you are completely right, I will 100% percent not buying it at launch if they dont fix the major issues. I am quite sure they do not fix it so I will probably buy it when its heavily discounted and play it offline only. Mma games need a mature rating to start with so they can make it as realistic as possible. I can almost cry if I think how epic ufc undisputed 2020 would have been at this point.

That's unfortunate. I mostly play quick match these days so it wouldn't effect me much, but that seems like such a backward decision to allow them in ranked. A separate leaderboard for CAFs would be ideal if they're set on going this route.

Do we know for sure that you will be able to disable CAF$ in quick match?

In the beta, there was no option under the quick match settings. I know there aren’t CAF$ in the beta but you could see other options that weren’t applicable to the beta. It’s not definitive but it definitely got me a little worried.

I thought it was confirmed that you can't disable CAF's, in any mode whatsoever?

We should get a petition going for full ragdoll with weight added on knockouts so you can't backflip the opponent the animation knockouts they have now have got to go or use them for tko sequences

I think a million people could sign this petition and cafs will likely stay in ranked.

Best case is to add a toggle feature to turn cafs on and off for your search criteria in ranked.

I'm still trying to work out how taking all of the casual players who use cafs and forcing them straight into the most competitive mode in which players will do anything to win makes sense.

I dig the CAFs in ranked only for the reason that you can't fully customize these existing fighters to your particular style and w a CAF you totally can. Maybe I want a ground and pound wrestler who uses an oblique leg kick and there isn't one on the roster etc etc. I agree, it is a little unrealistic to fight Voldemort, but its also pretty unrealistic to be fighting the Conor McGregor vs Conor McGregor all the time as well.....

I would definitely sign this if I was still playing. You need some form of repetitiveness. You can't learn a CAFs moves. You can roster fighters. You can't strategize against an unknown CAF. You can against roster fighters. UD3 completely destroyed ranked by allowing CAFs because someone glitched them as well. I don't care if you can't do that. I want to be able to learn the fighters. There is zero point in doing that in ranked if you allow random creations. I hope they reverse this decision for you guys. It is a competitive nightmare.

The CAFs available to create have preset moves that you cannot edit. Hopefully it will show the name of the CAF build type the person is using at the start of the fight.

So you can't really create your own? You have to pick a style and that is it? That's okay I guess.

You can edit looks, height, weight, stance, etc. But stats, moves and perks are preset and locked in according to the style you pick. It makes sense for online ranked, but at the same time, it is awful for offline folks who want to move stats around. Who knows, maybe upon release or a patch, you will be able to create your own offline build how you want. I actually think they could find common ground by having each style with different stat caps and mids that you can work with, as well as a few moves to work with and change around as well. It's a slippery slope though. Folks will find the meta CAF builds like max boxing and subs with no kicks or top control, or something like that.
