    I hope they do a remastered edition for UFC 4 on new console for next year. They should update graphics, fighter looks, new fighters, and just add on/update more game animations. I still
    hope they fix finish the fight animations and make sure referee doesn’t freeze.

    This will save time from having to wait 2 years making another new game when stuff gets copied and pasted anyways.

      Likes:

      +GnP ground sways and the options given for the sub fighter.

      +Movement and fluidity in the clinch.

      +Striking feels quicker and more responsive.

      +Attempt at making subs less unnecessarily complex, even though I was fine with the UFC 3 sub system. If tuned to be easier to escape, Subs can be fun.

      +Some of the striking changes MartialMind mentioned

      Dislikes:

      -Lack of advancement for the sub fighter in the clinch

      -Lack of actual over under and double under INPUTS in the clinch

      -General lack of control in the clinch. It would be best to add denials here, a la UD3.
      Don't try to recreate the wheel, EA. UD3 was well renowned for it's absolutely wonderful clinch.

      -During GnP, as the Submissive fighter, pulling the top fighter down should feel a bit more manual. Change the input to up on the right stick + R2, problem solved



      Neutral note - I'm actually okay with not having transitions as the Submissive fighter in GnP situations. I think people should have to worry about strikes first, controlling and pulling the top fighter down , before transitioning.

          I like that they replaced Rogan with DC on commentary and it sounds great for the most part. It's definitely a breath of fresh air compared to ufc 3.

          I dislike the way they recorded non-fighter specific lines such as "The stand up fighter wants to do x and the jiu-jitsu fighter wants to do y" (don't remember the exacts lines but close enough.) It just didn't really feel right imo

            Likes- Clinch system much improved, seemed much deeper when the beta was still active.
            -Standup seems to flow a little better, easier to string together a combo when the beta was still active.
            - The new takedowns looked pretty sweet when the beta was still active
            -Can now use head movement and block at the same time when the beta was still active

            Dislikes- Beta is no longer active
            -STILL have the same horrendous animation when the fighters go limp and the winning fighter just stands up. Looked so out of place when the beta was still active.
            -Stamina is way off......not penalized enough for throwing barrages of strikes when the beta was still active.
            -KOs are slightly better but still not as nice as UFC2s ragdoll KOs. Knockouts still didnt look right when the beta was still active
            -Theu turned the beta off after 2 days

              Yeah, stamina cost and damage should increase greatly for striking.

              Striking damage in the clinch needs to be toned down for the submissive fighter in the back against the cage position. The sub fighter in this position should deal much less damage to the opposing fighter.

                See, some of this stuff, like stopping power, stamina tax etc may not be tuned like it will be in the final build so I honestly should cut them some slack on some of the tuning aspects that they may be planning on dialing in last minute. I really have no idea what the plans are for the tunable aspects so I'm really not too worried about those things, but that being said, they may already have those set and we may be stuck with these arcade settings until a patch😔

                      Soo have you guys seen the new screenshot of the game for the gameplay trailer that's premiering tomorrow? Khabib's model looks insane. So this makes me believe we're going to see some significant improvements in fighter models. Like wow it looks amazing.

                          Idk it looks better. The new trailer touched on things but still didn't show block and sway. I'm surprised.

                              I didn't bother getting a code for the beta . But I'm not clear on either arm having its own health metre .

                                Major dislike the striking still felt NHL. Sliding and gliding across the cage at break neck speeds while basically using no stamina.
                                And striking balancing mainly in terms of recovery speaking of frame data still largely felt amatureish. If i block a series of strikes my opponent moving away and blocking at the first available frame before I can hit confirm my fastest punish is silly.
