The problem is that every fight ends in Knock out. There is no TKO.
I don't think they know exactly TKO. and the silly point is that We notice that the fight is over through ugly limp ko animation and unnecessary ko zoom instead of ref's interaction. Ref is always late to stop the fight in this game. Always reacts slowly. That's really bad.

Oh, that's right! Yeah, I knew you could rock from cage over/under, but I just didn't have it on my mind, was thinking of open over/under.

To be completely honest they have the formula though... I noticed it in the beta. I believe we might have stuns or rocks on the ground judging by a different thread and a beta video I saw on YT, so it's definitely there, it can be done. The not so loved TKO mini game from the past is completely gone now lol trust me I hated it too. So that's a huge plus in our favor. We now have proper defense on the ground when it comes to TKO's since we can block and sway. I actually dig the new KO animations on the ground, they're much more smooth then they ever were in UFC 3, they really do have physics now. They look much better. Ref interaction has been in since UFC 3, and now in UFC 4. They just need to implement them after EVERY KO OR TKO. That's pretty much all we need now when it comes to TKO'S. The foundation is there it just needs some tuning imo. I don't agree with the KO zoom either but it's not as bad as it was in the UFC 3 beta lol. That was definitely something..

This video would prove Dana to care about the game. He was well aware of the new ground position and submission system in the game.
He was talking about realistic gameplay and how involved he is to make the game.

Do you know what I was thinking? For example, FIFA is a football simulator from EA, which includes many leagues from different countries. To use them, EA must have consent (license). If EA is taking on MMA why not make the biggest MMA game ever? With different leagues from different countries. I understand that the issue is in the budget and the size of the development team. But you just think about it. Take big organizations UFC, RIZIN, ONE FC (Japan), Fight Nights (RUSSIA) to perform in them. I think it would be incredible

The only company that can afford it is EA. I cannot say about the demand for such a game. But the idea has been in my head for a long time. And I am very pleased to think about it

Imagine FIFA releasing without the offside rule, and the dev's excuse is:

"Yeah well offside can be a bit confusing, so we took it out so the outcome is always clear"

The excuses man.. They must have some full time apologetics running around EA HQ.

I think you all need to specify ragdoll better. I think they believe they have done that. They kind of have.

They have been specific. They want ragdolls from ufc 2 back just without the flips.

There about 100 threads over the last 3 years with people giving clear cut side by side comparsions between the UD3 FTF knockouts physics vs EA UFC. Its nothing to do with not specifying anything better, its the fact that a game that came out 8 years ago is leaps and bounds ahead of this game in this department and its not even close. Go look at MR Cool Ice's comparison threads if you want to see, or just search UD3 knockout compilations on YT.

We have already been told its a problem internally where the higher ups are not accepting that its a real issue so the devs cannot work on fixing this. Even GPD failed to change their minds on how ridiculously bad the TKO animations look. All the top comments around the EA UFC 4 gameplay trailers all revolve around the same FTF related complaints because everyone recongizes how shameful it looks next to UD3, but the higher ups are probably going to continue being ignorant until the franchise fails.

Totally not true. There are other publishers out there that can afford the license - IF they wanted it. It's just other big publishers don't see the value in the brand or as much value as EA and/or the UFC did when they signed their contract.

So the question isn't just who can afford to do the games, but who else wants to?
