Yh i've exerienced this before too. A grappler getting up and letting me up. One thing i dnt get that i've spoke about before about the AI though, is the over emphasis on their counter fighting. I played the beta and seems to be the same way. Like why are all these guys masters of range and counter fighting? Its killing imerssion when fighting certain guys that you know for a fact dont strike that way irl. I mean its to the point where some fighters will just stand in front of you at a distance where you cant hit them and just wait for you to do something. Certain fighters shouldn't be this good at distance management and countering. I always use DC as a prime examle...like why is this dude countering me with perfectly timed front kicks to the face like he's Silva or something? Irl DC isn't that type of stiker. So while the AI has much improved in terma of logic, i still think the striking needs to be tweaked for certain fighters. I’m sure you can answer this. I remember in ufc 3, skynet said something like Pro difficulty was supposed to replicate the “realistic” difficulty, for lack of better word (I’m not quoting him directly). Is that still the case with 4? Of course there are sliders and whatever this new feature is that has me very interested, but is it safe to assume Pro is the default difficulty for those of us looking for closest to realism we can get from the AI?Comment

Yep its still the same. Pro is the "realistic difficulty.I’m sure you can answer this. I mean... you've got more input into the in-game tendencies than most people
I still have dreams of a robust CAF AI editing system in game...maybe one day

That is true but if it was on PC, I could do a ton more live testing. Tweak a number and immediately see its effect. The way its set up now, the team tweaks a number and we have to wait a while to test the change.Comment

Yah I get ya. Being the person who can change a million things and test right away, I do sometimes go down that rabbit hole. Enjoyable as it is, I just don't have the time to do that too often.
Hopefully a few of the new features help alleviate some of that
