Competitive ranked players will play always with real fighters, in my humble opinion.

It should be noted that CAF's will be the equivalent to B+ or A in Ufc 3.

The changing weightclasses thing is true, based on vid below.
As for when you can change archetypes, it seems by the way he talks about it that you can change after you know your opponent's fighter. He refers to it as "changing your loadout"

That's the data they're going off of - how often someone picked Rogan, Buffer, Frost, Bishop, Dana. All to see how popular CAFs would be.

Such a shame nearly all these players than main Bishop will simply transition to CAFs
When people are throwing 400+ strikes in less then 5 full rounds on an accelerated clock in any weight classes, does it really even matter what the fighter you’re facing looks like?

At least I would expect Superman and Spider-Man and Squidward to put up crazy volume and not be gassed.

If anyone has been watching game play videos from the GCs . Trust me for the first few weeks you will pick those boxers apart by rag dolling them if you know what to do.

CAFs are here and the monetizing business behind them isn’t going anywhere. It’s a shame they combined CAFs into ranked. They could run a separate CAF mode as Dana’s Tuesday Night Contender Series and I’m sure everyone would be happy. Quick fight could mix and have a CAF toggle like UFC 3 to blend the usage of fighters.

If their goal is to maximize monetization via micro transactions then CAFs in ranked really does make sense. Sure they could have done it differently but I don’t see a company like EA willingly ignoring potential profits.

Re: Ranked will be rampant with CAFs

CAFs are popular and always will be, the freedom to create something of your own or mimic an idol is a very attractive feature to have, but the fact that this dev team is so lost and confused on how to keep attractive features when it comes to CAF's and not limit us doing simple things like adjusting our perks or stats is just sad....

Thats why they took down the UT mode, some genius thought adding roster skins to CAF's was a great idea so we saw 200 Conors running around and it was such a turn off during the beta and yes, no one played it, so GJ on that feature when all they had to do was expand on what they had in UFC 2.

Ranked with roster fighters is not a very popular mode, CAF's were added to keep it active, which is kinda the issue thats causing a lot of negativity.
