Re: OS Official UFC Undisputed Strategy and Help Thread
I tried it on Expert last night and I actually lost by decision!
However, the next 7-8 matches I lost very fast like to Rua. No matter what he just keeps shooting, and shooting, and shooting until he gets you down and then it's pretty much over.
Now if I plau as Rua, I am horrible at the ground game and Chuck tosses me aside very quick like.
Sometimes I think that both advanced and expert are a little too tough just because of the unfair ground game. And yes I do realize both fighters have strengths and weaknesses on the ground, but the CPU somehow is just a beast.
The stand up game is perfectly fair and real though.I post the frog

If you're playing as Chuck and Rua takes you down you must immediately try to close guard and hold back to block his transitions. This will also prevent him from delivering any effective strikes. If he does pass in to half guard you need to try to get back in to guard and stay in guard. If he is in open guard and punching you you can then use a transition to kick him off. If he is in open guard trying to pass, again, the safest thing to do is pull to close guard and block transitions by holding back..::..::::::::.:.:.:.:....:::.:.::::..:.:::....:::: ...:..::."When you're an assassin, you don't have a conscience"-Gilbert ArenasComment

Re: OS Official UFC Undisputed Strategy and Help Thread
Is there a way to engage the single-collar clinch with Rua reliably? I've been in it a few times, but I don't see anything in the commands list showing how to transition into that. I'm dying to try the flying armbar...Send your Midnight Release weirdo pics/videos to my new website: http://www.peopleofmidnightreleases.com!Comment

Re: OS Official UFC Undisputed Strategy and Help Thread
You do the Muay Thai clinch and then throw a punch. That will put you into the single-collar. From there you can click the right stick and go for the flying armbar.Comment

Ground game is fair once you get used to it. You just have to understand that pyramid and where you are on that pyramid at all times.

Re: OS Official UFC Undisputed Strategy and Help Thread
There's a much easier way to submit Chuck than in that video. If you get him to the ground, you can just keep the pressure on him and he will wear himself out trying to transition you off him. Once his stamina gets low just lock on the sub.Comment

Re: OS Official UFC Undisputed Strategy and Help Thread
Shouldn't be too tough now that I've learned the ground game, especially on beginner. Just use a wrestler and keep doing slams from the clinch or from mounts to kill the opponent's stamina. Chuck's powerbomb move takes a huge chunk of max stamina offComment
