Yeah, I think I'm just gonna jump in and pray that there'll be some good fights. Like you said, ya gotta jump in at some point, and you never know how a fight's going to turn out. If it's a good PPV we'll probably make a thing of it and at least get UFC 100. If it turns out to be boring I'll still try but it'll obviously be a much tougher sell. Thanks guys!

Re: UFC 98: Evans vs. Machida
There are always some good fights.
Pokam/McFedries should end in a KO. Edgar/Sherk should be a good battle between wrestlers with good hands. I dont have much hope for Hughes/Serra. Miller/Sonnen is kind of blah but it could be good. The main event could go either way.
And if we get some finishes there are some potentially exciting undercard fights we could see.

Re: UFC 98: Evans vs. Machida
Then once the PPV starts, you'll see four fights before seeing the main event. Depending on how long those PPV fights go before the main event, they might show some of the fights that took place before the PPV started. They will almost always put those fights into the PPV before the main event starts.
So you'll end up seeing at least five fights, but usually you see an extra one or two from before the PPV started because of quick finishes.Comment

I'm so glad they added this forum, this is the most pre-ppv discussion that we've ever had. They had us hiding in all other sports fof too long.Comment

Yeah this place has really exploded. We need to get the fantasy pick'em going again. I've gotten lazy with it. Is it true there is a limit to how many people you can have in a league on UFC.com? If so we might wanna start one on MMAplayground.com where you can have as many people as you want in a camp. Plus the betting section is fun too.Last edited by sven; 05-16-2009, 01:14 AM.Comment

Yeah, we do need to get the fantasy thing going again. On UFC.com there's a limit, so MMAplayground sounds good to me.Comment

You know, I'm not sure if it's the long break between 97 and 98, the terrible main event from 97, the co-main events, or a combination of all 3 but I am really pumped for this weekends card. I hope Sonnen's fight makes it to the broadcast.PSN: ScoopBrady

Preview of the main card from Sherdog: http://sherdog.com/news/articles/1/u...ain-card-17527
Does this cost $5 more for anyone else? I just looked today and was wondering if it was something UFC did or it's the provider. Both standard and hi-def are $5 more. Everything else I can see costs the same. (can't check the next WWE show yet)Comment
